I have very mixed feelings.

I have faith in Pulis to get the best out of limited players but I'm worried that we'll have limited players.

He did well with this bunch of players last season and we've not lost anyone

Ermmmmm excuse me baird,  but,  what about Mulumbu and Dorrans.

Plus there are a few other players TP clearly doesn't fancy (Pocognoli for a start).

I have a horrible feeling this transfer period is going very much like last season's with,potential panic buying of whoevers left in those last few days before the transfer window closes.

I meant we haven't lost anyone major, Dorrans was on loan at the end of the season, Mulumbu featured fairly little and no one would seriously claim that we'd miss Chris Baird.

Bearing in mind, the TP factor will have diminished and no doubt we will be parking the bus with four centre-halves at the back in front of three defensive midfielders with Sicknote, Saido or Ideye as the lone striker....  

Out of 10 what is everyone’s expectation for the coming season given our current squad?

Example:
10 = Top 7 finish
5  =  Mid-table struggle
3  =  Maybe 17th, maybe 18th
1  =  Certs for 20th and bottom place

IF Saido stays and keeps fit, based on our current squad, I would go 4.
IF Saido leaves, 2.

It's going to be a long, hard, negatively boring season methinks UNLESS we get some pacey flair players in now.

I fear another drab battle against relegation next season unless there really is a Chinese moneybags out there just itching to 'splash the cash'.

My mood and confidence for next season is not helped by the fact that 'my other team' (The Robins) were relegated to the National League (Conference) last season.

Oh well bring on Dover and Boreham Wood

Silver, commiserations about the Robins. My other lot are Barnet, as I was born there - so the good news news is we're back in the League. The bad news is, that gives me TWO relegation battles to worry about this year.

Silver - I'm also a CTFC fan, come from Cheltenham and followed them religously under Steve Cotterill (who I played against many times). Hopefully a return to stability will be beneficial, but that league is a bloody slippery pole by the look of it!!

Based on our current squad and the lack of success with incoming transfer targets it is a 2 or 3 from me.

If Saido (or Yacob) get injured it will change to a 1.

At the present time my confidence fails to even reach 1. Really really worried, last year there was some poor teams in the league, a lot of teams have bought, we have as of yet failed to do so. Sad Times .....

Sorry, I am back now.

My concerns, squad needs major overhaul .... not happening YET. Wanted before pre season
Injection of pace and flair ....... not happening yet
P### poor results against American sides that we should be beating, just about beating a third tier side
Season three weeks away ... very difficult home games could be no points from opening seven games hard to play catch up.
