Breaking News: WHATS YOUR CONFIDENCE LEVEL 2015-16 - BaggieMan - 05-11-2014

Notice the 'PIG' has signed a short term deal with the Dingles. Apart from the fact it's the Dingles and Tomasz doesn't speak Dinglese, best of luck to The Pole in Goal !
Rolleyes

The 'Blouse' beat top of the table, Watford giving them an unbeaten run of two games under new boss Gary Rowett, a run unheard of at St Andrews in modern times ! Are the Blouse back we ask ourselves ?

Big Grin

Who will be relegated from the PL this season ?  For me:

18. A N Other
19. QPR
20. Burnley

18th isn't so straight forward. IMO, between Blunderland, Vile, Leicester and Palace.

Your thoughts ?

Huh

Palace please Baggieman; then we get rid of two Managers on my hate list and I don't mean Dyke.

Think that Appy Arry will get the sack soon if things don't improve at QPR.....GREAT......except that a new guy might just keep them up after all.
Stand by Pulis!!!   Oh sh1t.

...that brings up an interesting point......whoever's bottom/close to bottom at the New Year will inevitably sack their manager - and after his heroics with Palace last year surely Pulis will almost be able to name his price and conditions?
I can feel a good bet coming on.....

RE: Breaking News - BaggieMan - 06-11-2014

JANUARY SALES - JANUARY SALES - JANUARY SALES

Who should we give their P45 ?
Who isn't pulling their weight ?
Who has no Baggie future ?

Show them the bin:

Jonas Olsson (Sell him for a few bob to 'Arry)
Chris Baird (Don't even know why we signed him)
Georgios Samaras (Too fancy a haircut for The Baggies)
Stephane Sessegnon (Goes missing and spends more time watching the game than being involved)
'Sicknote' Anichebe  (Lacking in the skill department and doesn't score enough. Semi-permanently injured)
Jason Davidson (Not Premiership quality)

Close to the bin:

Chris Brunt. (Moaner Brunt he should be called. His occasional 'killer' pass is his saving grace)
Claudio Yacob. (Nowhere near his best displayed when he first joined us)
Gareth McAuley. (His age is against him)

Anyone agree with any or would add to P45 list ????

RE: Breaking & Rolling News - Salopbaggie - 06-11-2014

I would definitely keep Sess. Anichebe and Davidson from the "show them the bin" list and keep all of the close list, unless silly money was on the table, as we could not replace them for the price we would get.

I would consider adding Ideye to the bin list though. if we could recoup on the price paid, especially when you think Berahino is rightly 3 times his value and things do not look great when you read between the line of AI's comments. Plus I just can not see him syncing with the rest of the squad under AI's playing style.

RE: Breaking & Rolling News - wba_1996 - 06-11-2014

We don't buy in January so I don't see why we would sell anyone really.

Olsson potentially if a decent offer comes in but other than that I don't think we will be doing anything. I'd say your list is more suited to next summer's potential business.

RE: Breaking & Rolling News - silverbaggie - 06-11-2014

I think Baggieman that there's worryingly too many players on your list.

Don't want another ten out and eleven in scenario again. This lot haven't gelled properly yet!!!

RE: Breaking & Rolling News - 4evaabaggie - 06-11-2014

please please please please let it be the vile ...... they are so obnoxious I would probably laugh myself into A&E, I believe if the seals go down they will not be back for a while, their squad is paper thin, no real quality, no money and fickle fan base. I do not normally wish ill on anyone but with the vile I will make an exception.

pride of the midlands .... we know what we are

RE: Breaking & Rolling News - aries22 - 07-11-2014

Sunderland would be good for the drop, or Leicester. I don't think I'd be happy to see Villa go down. Certainly not as happy as when the Wolves went down.
As for players' P45s - I can't see Samaras doing anything for our first XI, and I gather Jason Davidson is slow, but for now I agree with WBA_1996 and wait for the summer and see where we are and what it brings us. There's no way I'd let Sessegnon or Brunt go, and I'd definitely keep Anichebe for a second season, see if he can stay fit and uninjured. As for Olsson, Ska'd made the acute observation on the Newcastle match thread that Olsson is increasingly complacent, and I agree with that. When we concede a sloppy goal, he just looks at other players and seems to shrug his shoulders.

RE: Breaking & Rolling News - BaggieMan - 07-11-2014

For 18th relegation spot, I'd rather it be the Vile for the drop to silence their arrogant fans who live on past glory in the same way as Leeds United fans who are even worse. Sometime ago I did a poll on another forum asking 'Who are the biggest clubs in England?'  It was an honest question but invariably Leeds United fans included Leeds in the top five ! Villa fans also have the same deluded attitude. Remarkable self-adoration really.
