The Ashes -2015

I'm off to Manchester to watch Yorks in the T20 tomorrow. We've had a disappointing season so far but that's more than made up for by being top of the Championship.

As with most seasons, I feel Yorkshire should do well at T20 but somehow we don't seem to do it justice.
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

It's bizarre. You look at the side and it ticks every box. Something just fails to click on match day

I know T20 is the modern way Confused but i'd still rather win the County Championship or Test series Thumb up

For me, you just can't beat the nuances and vagaries that can swing a 4 or 5 day game in a single session Big Grin and with two innings each to play out you can start off the game shit and still be in with a chance of winning Cool

My dear chap, I couldn't have put it better myself - nice to see that at least one of the unwashed of S6 has some class.

Lady Elspeth has put your name down for one her soirees.

On the subject of T20, did anyone see the bowling of Gloucester against Surrey the other night? Gave them two overs of extras, including 4 wides in one over.

Elspeth thinks she could pick a side from the Yorkshire Council to do better.

Anyway, Jenkins is getting the Bentley out for our trip to Old Trafford tonight so must go - keep struggling on chaps.

Yours aye,

It was pretty shit how the Wancashire batsmen were allowed to run down the centre of the pitch without censure for the last four overs knowing that they had three spinners in the side Angry
