Get a few players in, get a few players out,

Today's EEN sports report touches on the same issue. Stanton reckoned to be loaned out to Dundee as part of the Boyle deal. If it improves his game then great. He certainly did not contribute enough since his contract was extended with Hibs. The same applies to Danny Handling, who again has the potential but really must apply himself on trying to win a first team berth or face an eventual offload.

I totally agree 0762. I always thought that we had a future star in young Stanton, but he's never shown enough at a consistent level. However after a loan spell away, he might come back a better player and be ready to move up a level when we come back into the Premier League. Thumb up

I'm less sure about Handling, but the same applies to him. I'd also like to see Lewis Allan make the grade with us and hopefully he will be a regular in the first team squad this time next year.

Ex-Raith centre back Paul Watson apparently an imminent Hibs signing. Also good news that Liam Fontaine is apparently travelling up to Easter Road this week - fingers crossed that a deal can be brokered. On the goalie front, there's a strong rumour that Hibs will try to buy out Ben Williams final contracted year with Bradford. I'm not a great fan of Williams but Stubbs really has to sort out the goalie positions asap esp with the imminent start of Hibs training programme at East Mains TC.

It's official big Liam's committed himself to HFC signing a Two year deal today. This is another piece of Big Stubbs puzzle getting Liam to sign is great news for the club and everyone associated to the club Fantastic News.

Now all we need is Scotty Allan to sign a extension on his contract and its all systems go at Easter Rd ...

Deeeelighted well done Hibernian FC things are changing and only for the better Leanne Dempster has stepped up to the mark and kept her word in keeping this side together well almost just brilliant hopefully more supporters will buy ST now but we all no what the stumbling block is RP

Fontaine is a massive signing for Hibs! But confirmed bad news on bbc sport - Scott Allan interesting both Celtic and Rangers. I'm sure RFC would've been told in no uncertain terms to go and raffle themselves. The Hoops interest is a bigger concern! We've been done in the past with such a move for a very good player and I concur I'd like Hibs to try and broker an extended contract with Allan as his valuation is inevitably going to increase. If Hibs sold him, I'd expect a good number of ST holders to redeem their STs as Allan would be one main reason for purchasing an ST.

Still feel confident Scott will stay at HFC. The reason I think this firstly he said he would stay now I understand players change their mind for bigger wages but in saying that he must have been on decent wages down south. Rangers and Celtic are big test for any young player to say no to but I feel he will learn more at Easter Rd big Stubbs has built a really strong bond between the squad so I think that will help him stay.

If he goes he would get his age at Ibronx as they don't have anyone better than him in their team but at Celtic it's a different case thir midfield is much stronger who would he kick out the team. I feel there better players than him so it won't be easy to play every week like he does at HFC another reason for him to stay put.

Bottom line if he really is that good staying put for another 1/2 years it won't arm him then ove onto a bigger team than the old firm can offer at the moment mot of the HFC squad are on a two year deal so c'mon Scottybboy stay put get HFC back in SPL and take it from there

I'd wager that John Collins has played a big part in Celtic showing an interest in Scott Allan but agree he'll find it tough going at Celtic Park for any midfield berth. I hope he stays for various reasons - all linked to holding a positive line on team rebuilding + keeping a huge proportion of Hibs support onside and interested in the club's progress.

If the gossip is right Tynie then Ibrox is where he wants to be,however he'd be mental to blank Celtic if they want him
