According to tonight's EEN Hibs seem happy to pay a Developement Fee for Boyle it's seems its a matter of everyone seems happy so it's a matter of him putting pen to paper.

The next signing target for Stubbs has to be Liam Fontaine. IMO that one will be a huge signing that will give us one very good defender who strolled through most of last season's Championship matches. I hope Stubbs succeeds in enticing him back to Easter Road.

I'm 100% with you on that signing it would be brilliant for everyone involved with HFC. 0762

According to reports, Scott Robertson is tweeting that he won't be at Easter Road next season. Can anyone confirm this?

I also feel that Liam Fontaine must be a priority signing.

Never heard anything about Scott Robertson Ritchie he will be missed in the middle of the park prob had his best season at hibs last season. We live in hope he resigns or hope big Stubbs can replace him ASAP everything on the contract side seems to be getting quickly for a change.

Today's EEN confirms Robertson's contract is over and he is leaving Hibs. He'll be missed but it frees up annual wages and I'd like to see Stubbs signing another midfield player who is capable of scoring a good number of goals from distance, a midfield strength that we've lacked for quite a while.

It's a shame he's decided to go but I'm not going to slag him off he done well last season hope it all works out for him where ever he ends up.

Have you got any thoughts on who you would like to come in 0762 ?

Sad to see him go. He did have occasional off-days but when he and Scott Allan were on song, Hibs were hard to beat. definitely one of our better players. We now need a new strong combative midfielder who can produce a few goals, but I'm sure Alan Stubbs will be ahead of the game on that front. Good luck to Robbo wherever he goes.

It's a pity young Stanton has not progressed to the next level yet as this lad can definitely score goals from distance. I fear he'll still be a fringe player unless he grasps the opportunity and stakes a strong claim for one of Hibs midfield slots - he has great potential and must strengthen up and up his game! We need an experienced mid player like Gary Deegan but finding that type of combative player is easier said than done. I'm also curious to see what goalkeepers Stubbs will eventually sign. Then we'll see what will be the spine of his team for next season. Will Stubbs look at any Championship goalies or will he look at the English market again? I suspect he'll pick up info from contacts down south. There's clearly a bit of work to do for the manager and I'm sure he'll handle these final transfer dealings fairly competently.
