Matt you CANNOT be off social media and forums. That is what you are for ........ just get used to it will you? It IS an important role.

For what it is worth I expected Ebanks-Blake to end up back at Plymouth, any of their fans I've spoken to said when Reuben Reid played they were a promotion outfit, without him they were nothing special. I thought pairing him up with a former hero would be a way out of Division 2 for them ..... but they haven't a manager.

I thought we needed an experienced striker, who is keen to do well. Ebanks-Blake fits the bill if he is doing more than talking the talk.

Hang on a goddam second ,I mentioned Ebanks - Blake first .I deserve the credit !.
I actually think he might be the missing piece in the jigsaw provided we can keep everyone else.
I'm ok with keeping Armand ,maybe Saunders will get more out of him than Cookie you never know.

Only problem with Ebanks-Blake is ever since he got injured at Wolves he's not found his form again if Saunders can get him playing again like he was 2-3 seasons ago then he should be the top goalscorer in L1 and we could be near the top of the table again.

Yes Pooch Ebanks-Blake is your man. Matt is apparently buffering.

I don't know why Armand splits our fans. He's shown ability. Whether Dean Saunders can get more out of him than Mr Cook I dunno. But I think Saunders rated him when they played against him ........

If Ebanks-Blake starts the season fit and raring to go he could be an excellent signing. He's only 29, but you never quite know what injuries have taken out players. BUT we were never going to sign a risk-free superstar were we? For nothing much?

I like Armand he's a character which you don't get much in football. I think the reason why certain fans dislike him is because he's not a goalscorer who can get 20-30 goals in a season and he's still learning and plying his trade, I think Saunders will be able to get the best out of him. Big question is will Saunders bring in another striker? As it stands we have Mani, Armand, Seb, Simons, Harrison, Beesley as strikers plus Clucas can play as a striker. I think we could do with another keeper and maybe another defender possibly another midfielder if Ryan decides not to sign a new contract.

We definitely need a midfielder and a defender (even if we lose only Ryan). I don't know how, but I'd have to replace Chapman - you can't have an invisible 7 foot reserve keeper, he has to be available to play. The way we failed in the play-offs was ludicrous - three keepers all unfit for the biggest match ever? Exeter grabbed the man I'd have taken, Olejnik, despite having an age-group international on their books.

Notice Rochdale snapped up Alessandra from Plymouth, a very good signing, but it seems odd to me to let a player go days before you appoint an new manager.

That's what happened at Sheffield United Clough releases players and then is sacked. We do need another keeper, Chapman has been injured ever since his injury at Accrington.
