If ever TP didn't realise we will struggle against anyone with pace he does now,
And if he didn't realise the whole team needs pace throughout the squad he does now,
And Villa avoid relegation again by one fooking place ...........

If we'd got a last minute penalty at Villa Park - and not them - Vile would be relegated.

horrible way to end the season but we have to be pleased with that so called run in of doom wins against Chelsea and Man united were magnificent and surprising. Then draws with Liverpool and Newcastle made it 8 pts out of possible 15 with 4 of those 5 teams in the top 6. Shame we had to get that drubbing at Arsenal but still a great effort. Boing Boing looking forward to next season hoping we get some better quality in shame to see Mulumbu released Both he and Yacob were an outstanding partnership once upon a time Yacob seems to have excelled as a defensive midfielder strong tackling breaking up play and providing some good outballs his only issue is that temper hope he can keep up the aggression but hold his temper more next year. Berahino? who knows? Time will tell if he goes for glory and a place on a bench or sticks with us and guaranteed game time. Gmac in talks well done to him for giving everything in his so called twilight years. If we keep gmac olsson lescott and dawson we'd have 4 good centre backs we know can play out of position reasonably well (how many clean sheets?) then priority must be left and right wingers and couple of proven strikers imo. happy end of season to all :-)

Went down to the smoke for this one, and to be honest after 15 minutes I wish I hadn't bothered. Arsenal were at their best and every shot they had seemed to go in, but my God our defending was bad. That back 4 seem to be really vulnerable to a bit of pace and trickery, which is probably why Wenger picked Walcott up front instead of Giroud.
The fans were great. Nice to see Super Bob in the crowd as well. I'd never been to the Emirates before but it really is true what they say; I've been to performances of John Cage's 4' 33" that have been louder.
