Yeah its ridiculous
They are like a bunch of hyenas desperately feeding off scraps of information which is probably just someone's opinion .
Its that sort of thread that puts me off reading that messageboard .

To be honest Matt its still a biggish price which suggests its speculation rather than someone in the know .I'll start to worry if he goes odds on .

Why would he drop a division to manage Pompey?? If he is looking to maybe progress surely with the success you have had this season he would be looking for a club in the Championship, not league 2??

News has just broken on BBC Radio Sheffield Football Heaven that Portsmouth have approached Chesterfield to speak to Paul Cook.

They should be told to swivel and go do one!!!!! Its poor form to do that before the season ends and its shocking timing with your season hanging in the balance on first getting to the playoffs and then progressing through them!!

This could really affect us on the pitch. Portsmouth should have waited till after the season was over because they have nothing left to play for but we've got a real chance of making the playoff final and possibly getting promotion to the Championship.

This should be used by the coaching staff to motivate the players by saying that if they want to keep him then getting promoted will be the best way to achieve that!! Its a strange rule where you can talk to a manager but not a player outside the transfer window, maybe the same rules should apply.
