Apparently travelling to England on Saturday to complete the deal. Scored 7 in 13 in Norwegian top league this season, scored 51 in 146 for Brann.

Good info, just wondering where the money came from. I thought we were under strict spending restrictions.

Its not we don't have money, I assume they are looking to spread the fee over the length of the contract.

Starting to look good - plus possibly a big profit by selling Johnson, who although he was great that first season, had been found out and was less effective this last season.

My view exactly it seemed once defenders in England sussed he would want to cut in onto his right foot, his ability to surprise reduced considerably. Talk is of an offer around £5 million, I think we paid around €3 mil for him, I don't know if there was any sell on clause, So I guess the real question is, could we replace him with better for £1 million, the break even point?

I can't keep up with the gossip.
Grant to join Stoke, Maja and Dike to leave, Barry returning, Tottenham kids to join.
2020 the year the bubble burst  Doh

Still no news! I thought with him coming over yesterday it would be done and dusted, medical, terms and signing announced.
Hope it is just Albion delaying the news rather than another hijacked deal.

I am just hoping with them being in Austria the club does not have the same speed at getting medical results and its not a terms issue or a hijack. His dad did post he is happy with the move, so hopefully an announcement tomorrow. I really would love to see this one happen.

EDIT> Now it appears talks with Flamengo for the Johnston move have broken down, I would if that has anything to do with this stalling, hope not?
EDIT> Edit> Now that is a first, it is being reported that the deal fell through after fans did not want the transfer, allegedly they even had Robbie Keane on the radio singing Johnston's praise, some outlets reporting the big bosses are say ignore the fans and go ahead with the deal, time will tell.

Apparently Heggebo has joined up with the rest of the squad in Austria. To me that suggests it's virtually a 'done deal'......

I hope so, though I think I read a few days ago he had joined up with the squad to have his medical and talk terms,
