I particularly like the aspects of his youth/academy work - let's hope that we can (at last) start bringing more of our promising youngsters through to OUR first team ![]() ![]()

Success? Welcome Ryan, hope you have great success and become an Albion legend
Welcome aboard, Ryan. If you're half as good a manager as you were a player it'll be Albion swopping places with Spurs next year.

I know it’s taken sometime to appoint Ryan, and some people have moaned about this. However, it does look like the management wanted him from the off, and had to wait for him to become available.
I do like that the club made the decision to go for him as their first choice and stuck with that. I think this is different to the previous owners and is commendable. We now need to give him some time to bed in as this is his first proper appointment. Hopefully the owners have a few dollars to spend on improving the squad. Plus they get a good piece of business in the sale of Fellows. Looking forward to seeing how this develops. Wishing Ryan every success.

I'm quite excited about this, for no particular reason. Should know better after all these years as a baggie.

Like others, I’m really pleased with this appointment. I appreciate it’s a risk and recognise it’s his first job in charge but no appointment is guaranteed success. I commend the owners for having the balls to see his potential and take a punt. After our history of appointing established and not entirely successful names, it’s good to have a young coach with fresh ideas. Delighted
