The Express and Dingle are reporting he has as good as signed for Hull, that will be extremely disappointing if true as it could only be a money move, certainly not a career move, unless we have told him he is surplus to requirements and that is hard to see. I hate when a club has shown loyalty and faith in a player even bringing him back to the UK when no one else was interested, for them to then pull a move like this. Angry Angry

Why are we waiting, more gossip about who is going rather then incoming.
Give the recruitment department a nudge and get the fax plugged in.

I'm certain there's a lot happening "behind the scenes". I'm equally confident that, unlike most of the last 6 or 7 years, we WON'T be just looking at 'the best of the rest', with 10 or so days to go before the first game!
I'm thinking we now have an astute, able Head Coach, and an owner who cares and will back him. Also that we're definitely a more attractive club to come to than we have been for a while.

Nurse!! Where's my medication?? Confused

Has it ever been different.

We are a Championship Club and add to that not a rich one and so we have to wait for the big dogs to finish feeding before we can get scraps from the table or get lucky with something they all missed.

Speculation is all it is at best. A lot is just malicious and pointless click bait activity which I am almost numb to nowadays.

I hate to say it but most of our business (if that is not too strong a word) will happen in mid to late August and we will already have played a few games, maybe 4 at least.

Not that stops us selling or letting players go and so we will have a weakened squad before we start to strengthen.

With our financial situation as it is we still have to get funds in. Players will have to sacrificed for the good of the club. We have probably reduced our out goings by £10m + but we still need £10m+ incoming to just balance our books.

Good signing in the short term, do we think he's going to be a starter though?

I'm assuming that McNair is the ball playing centre half replacement for Kipre, with Heggem completing with Townsend for the left back spot.

Alternatively, if Yokuslu goes - and I'm hoping we keep him - McNair could slot in that role.
