Things must really be bad if it's turning Madsteve melancholic.

Can't disagree with any of it though, had it not been for both the fact that Westwood has made game changing saves, and the bottom 4-5 teams have consistently been awful. Then we would certainly be down there in the mire singing a different tune, I feel our current standing in the table masks SG's failures throughout the season.

This truly has been one of the most open Championships I've seen in many years, teams such as Brentford & Bournemouth making the top 6? Wigan and Brighton in the bottom?

Blackpool scored 4 yesterday, Madine getting one of them. SG chose to not sign any natural wingers in the window to help reshape us... He's almost had enough rope in my opinion, Saturday he hung himself.

Keane out for the season with medial knee ligament damage!

The lad has bad luck with injuries.

Seriously? Fark me.... So that's 2 loanees gone in Baker & Keane.

No choice then is there, recall Madine and give him a few starts.

Watch SG dip in to the market for a CB though with Loovens being out

Fark! What is it with us and injuries? We were looking solid mid table but now we are in a @%£&%@*^#~ fight.

It's (not) nice to see that you've all realised what I've been saying since the beginning of October is correct Smartass

SG MUST GO Angry or we will be in the relegation mix Angry

Fair point Maddix, I like a few others thought we were doing well when in actuality we were over achieving and ready to nose dive. The worse part is we have/had the players to make a go of things, they were either played out of position of not even selected to play.

The tactics and selections are becoming as desperate as they were under DJ. It's true his hands were a bit tied at the start of the season, seems to me that the owners backed him in the recent window and he has made some questionable choices.

He's killing everyone's confidence

He can start by bringing back MADINE. Stupid decision to let him go on loan. Direct swap. Madine for Noopoo, who might do ok in a lower division.

Bring Madine back, don't extend Lavery's loan at Chez Vegas. Try them both before going for anyone else

We missed out on a winger on deadline day so now our priority HAS to be a winger. We can probably manage at CB with Zayatte/Dielna/Lees for now.
Buxton (rumoured to be going on loan though), Vermijl, Hutch, Semedo as well if required.

What it does mean is we now HAVE to play 4 at the back when we could have been going 352 for most of the season Doh.
So now we should play a more fluid 442 diamond/433 and go for it, we might not have a lot to play for at the top but we can still get dragged into the bottom (don't think we will mind). We can also play a big part in who gets top 2/6. We still have to play Derby, Middlesborough, Bournemouth, Wolves, Norwich, Brentford.

Lets get some positive momentum going and try to carry it into next season where we can have a proper push for promotion. Thumb up

We could still play 352 by using three from Lees, Buxton, Zayatte, Dielna & Mattock in defence.

Something like:

Westwood
Lees - Zayatte - Dielna
Palmer - Hutchinson/Melo - McGugan - Lee - Helan
Madine - May/Bus
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

leaves us short though at CB. Any red card/injury and we have no real option from the bench and we'd have to reshuffle the formation during the game which is not really ideal
