The noise around interest in Celtic players on loan etc is positive - it must mean behind the scenes there is a expectation that new ownership is close to being confirmed - if not, then would they have the confidence to invest?

Lots of gossip this week.
Dike injured again, Okay moving to Trabzonspor, the "Takeover" dragging on, were about to run out of cash, CC frustrated with his situation.

The window closes in 5 days.
The takeover has no chance of being completed by then. So CC has no funds to buy anyone and will need to fund the running of the club by releasing players. I guess we need £8million to see us through until the trend of the season. We will soon find out.

Xavi to leave Barcelona and takeover at Liverpool. WBA set new signings wages price cap of £500k / year. IMO that isa clear lack of ambition for the future Carlos looking to bring 3 more loans in. Okay wants to o stay with us, but we need the money. Bartley wants a 2 year deal if he leaves, matching his current salary is a problem.

Think it's safe to say any takeover will not happen before the window closes. With little or no cash in the bank I doubt if we will buy anybody. Maybe a loan but that's only if someone leaves. This £10k a week wage cap excludes any known good players joining us. Vardy and Wink at Leicester earn £140k and £90k a week surely we can't hope to have a side that can challenge if we enforce wage caps. We will have to wait and see if anyone leaves in the next 48 hours.
Where does this leave CC is a big question.

Big articles on Newsnow saying Patel is very close to concluding the purchase and SHOCK HORROR replacing our hero manager with a Croatian coach Ivan Juric, currently at Torino with a big money contract!

Just looked into the original reporter, he even says on his own page, "there are some sh1t journalists out there.. and Tom is one of them". I have checked some of his other stories and he seems as reliable as a Midland Red bus timetable and they stopped years ago. You watch him have this one!!
