Before anyone gets excited about a dream takeover. Please remember we can't buy anyone unless we sell. Our FFP prevents us spending anything but pennies. I suppose if we had a new owner the could do some financial juggling and sell the ground naming rights and get a few million to spend. Without new money we don't have enough cash to last the season so we would have to raise £10 million+ from somewhere or risk administration and a points deduction.

Perhaps though, BlueBaggie, it will allow us to keep what we have and not have to sell. I feel our fully fit and injury free squad is more than capable of making the playoffs

100% if we can get Dike fit that would be a great boost. AST is a great runner but has limited success.
Dike has shown he knows where the net is.
Even Grant if sold wouldn't even pay off what we still owe.

I must admit I had assumed a new owner before January would mean we could spend a bit of cash in January and buy our way into contention - this FFP is not good news.
That said, always a half full type of guy - new ownership would put a spring in the step of everyone; Players, Manager, Fans and Staff and we all know that a happy, positive thinking group can do amazing things. So, injuries aside, the squad is more than capable under CC's magical touch of being in the play-off places come the end of the season.
My big worry is player fitness. Maja came and went so fast I am not sure it actually happened. What's to say the same won't happen to Dike, as lets face it, he seems to be made of glass and probably will get injured again during light training and not even get back onto the pitch!
It might be we will need to bring back Grant. If the club has a positive, new owners, vibe about it might be that with CC's encouragement he could be a major asset at the end of the season (no idea if contractually we can recall him - madness if we can't).

Looks like a load of nothing to me.
Recalling "Grant" is another load of rubbish. He has a hamstring injury and won't play for approx 6 weeks. That's how silly the rubbish about him being recalled.
I was under the impression it was a season long loan anyway.

Question - if we paid off our loans and the MSD, Peace and Lai loans.
Wouldn't that allow us to buy players without impacting FFP?
Also further income from sponsorship and naming rights could be used ?

The Non disclosure agreement/s are rubbish then. Something is going on or this is a total fabrication.
Either putting pressure on Lai to sign off the sale or we could be trying to send out a message were not giving away any players cheaply.
Either way the actual sale is not how we do business. Can't even see the sense in announcing 3 interested parties.
