Not to get too carried away about that one goal, but I really hope that scoring a last-gasp debut equaliser like that gives BTA all the confidence he'll need to push on. Obviously it's not always the case (Carlos Vela springs to mind), but we've had too many strikers through the years arrive with pressure and expectation on their shoulders and just dry up. If he's got that instinct for consistently being johnny-on-the-spot for loose balls and tap-ins, Kevin Phillips style - a very underrated quality in forwards - then we'll have made a very shrewd move.

He put himself in there and his reaction was spot on. Grant always seems to need time to do anything. Yes it’s early days but let’s hope that attacker’s instinct, positioning, or even pure damn luck stays with him.
