HTAFC Summer Transfer Window 2022

Would love to get Tino back. We only saw glimpses of him last season as he recovered from injury. By the time he was fit again, the season was more or less done.

If the rumours of £10m for the pair are close to true yes. What happened to the £12m release clause in LO'B's contract for a start and how cheap are they getting Toffolo for? Angry

Apparently Toffolo has rejected the offer from Forest so it's ether time for them to up the wages/promises or walk away

Think Forest have now signed pretty much a new starting 11 where other than these two all of them don't really know each other. They'll make all the right noises but there's also a few from the promoted squad still there that will now have their noses put out of joint. Could likely do a Fulham, by the time they do know each other well enough to actually become a team they'll be so far below the trap door they won't escape. That of course assumes they'll all be starters rather than bench warmers, in which case the newbies will have their noses pretty quickly put out of joint too.

Yes, you need better quality players to survive - but it was a team spirit, talent (and maybe a dodgy ref) that got you there. It won't take long to find out who the mercenaries are.

Good luck to them both, football is a short career and they need to maximise earnings as much as possible. On one hand I want them to kick on and become better players which would mean a big money move further down the line on the other hand I don't think either are Premier League quality and it would be funny if Forest messed up after paying all this money out in Transfers and wages.

Now lets invest some of the money in an up and coming striker who has scored goals at some level of the EFL

By the way, Forest love poaching players from us on the cheap. Hefele,Lolley and now Lewis O'brien and Toffolo. We're like the Poundland of Football Wink

Forest will either prove that their manager is very, very good despite looking like refugee from a life of white-water bestiality in Deliverance, OR they will simply go down into a maelstrom, when they find after three games it's rapids all the way and most of the team are intent on saving only themselves and their careers.

The good news for other potential relegation candidates is that already Forest are pencilling in their name alongside that of Everton for a season of drowning not waving.

The Forest fans are living the dream right now, a chairman promising the earth and like most football fans can't see the woods for the Trees.

£70million on transfers, promises to pay huge wages £120k Henderson and possibly north of £180k for Lingard, it all sounds a bit shit or bust to me
