Maybe his second half performance after coming on against us on Saturday people might have noticed him.  Even so, he was not as hot against us, as I have seen him. Still impressive though.

I doubt 2.5m would get him though as some of the big boys have been having a sniff.

He is not the finished article yet, but the most exciting young player I have seen in a while, a little bit like Laurie Cunningham when he was at Orient.  He is not afraid to run at a player, Willie Johnston style, though not as cocky with it  Smile , and he can let one fly with the best of them.

I would go as far as say I would rather have him than anyone we have been associated with so far and just hope he can cut it (I am sure he can) against better defenders.

Yes please!!!!!!!!

See TP does listen to us  Smile

Blues now expressing an interest in Dorrans. I smell a deal waiting to be done Whistle
I'd love Gray even though he won't be great yet but he's exciting and very young, great potential and stealing someone from Blues would be quite funny for us. A swap deal with Dorrans would be brilliant but I just don't see it happening.

The Forlan link reminds me of Anelka for obvious reasons and it's a concern that he currently plays in Japan, part of me would still love it though.

Sinclair going to Villa Big Grin please be as bad as he was for us.

A link which means little for now and looks very unlikely to happen http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/fo...76#rlabs=1
Right, we can all stop talking about Jack Cork......

He's fast, skilful and not afraid to take players on as we saw when he came on against us.

"....not keeping Brown Ideye"?
Has he gone then? As said in an earlier post I can't see any confirmation of this?

No still ours http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/fo...es-8537092
No, Ideye is still 100% here. We can't let him go because we are playing 442 under Pulis, we need 4 strikers and we only have 3 as it is.

OK so this is it - the weekend where transfers really hot up and get done.

I am very happy with the McManaman deal and possible other activity in that part of the park but very concerned about the lack of activity for a striker.

Forlan is just a rumour and although exciting it falls in the Anelka camp i.e. big name no promise of delivering anything.

I am not worried, yet, but come Monday morning with 20 hours or so to go I will be bricking it!
Never mind sell Brown - how about just spend the money JP supposedly spemt on him in the summer!! When you take that it was £2.5-3m down and not £10m then we spent next to nothing on transfer fees again in the summer!
Yes the wage bill goes up and Lescott was a big investment - but so does the TV money, and again in the new deal!

I would take Forlan as the 4th striker ( 20 min impact player ) if we can get rid of Brown and bring in 2 forwards.
If not - I would keep Brown and pay the money for Gestede!

Mvilla, Gestede and Lennon would be my wildest dreams Monday!
I think Gestede still has 2 years on his contract so wouldnee be surprised if he didn't go anywhere. Will JP pay £6m+ for him - even with TP banging on the table? I have my doubts.
Would love to see Lennon come in plus another striker - God knows who though. My real fear is if Berahino is injured, or his goals dry up, we're really up *hit creek.
Forlan MAY prove to be a really interesting short term solution, he certainly knows where the net is.
No great surprise to see us miss out on Fletcher i was sort of hoping we had Jack Cork on the back burner while waiting for a final answer from DF but now he's off to Swansea..Not sure the position is a priority anyway but i've always rated Cork
