Did you know only 13 Transporter Bridges are left in the world.

Snoots and AmChaff could do a world tour to take them all in

1 in Spain
1 in France
1 in USA
4 in the UK
3 in Germany
2 in Argentina
1 in the Czech Republic

In other news, 2 more game on Sky!!!
Good Friday v Luton could mean a few pots around Town beforehand
Boro away on Monday lunch time, BH Monday knees up in the club instead sounds good

A few problems. Snoots not that bothered about travel outside the UK. He does like Scotland so when they feck off, that will be going abroad, unless we'll be about as welcome as a fart in an astronaut's suit. I don't want to go back to France, I don't want to go to Argentina ever. And, finally, I don't want to fly again for climate reasons, although I haven't pledged not to do so for fear of breaking it. Otherwise, jolly good idea, Wakey.

The Docklands bridge is there, but not as a transporter bridge. That phase hasn't happened (yet, if ever).

They typically have a cabin (bit like a cable car cabin) or a deck for vehicles, suspended from wires or otherwise from the bridge span above them.
If I found the correct reference for Falkirk, that's a "wheel" or rotating lift for linking two canals at different levels to each other rather than a series of lock gates.

I'm on reduced hours, on minimum wage. Can't afford to watch Town away, never mind watching cricket. Sad
