The important thing is - L'O'B is still wearing blue'n'white stripes and not a white shirt/shorts/socks with bit's of blue'n'yeller on 'em. The add-ons are a bonus - it's now just up to Careless to work out who he shuffles out of the starting 11 (or otherwise) to play them.

Happy, happy, happy, well so far. Call me at Easter.

Who would I like to see back at Town? - Emile Smith Rowe.
That lad has gone on from strength to strength since he first came to us.

West Ham have joined Leeds in the chase for Huddersfield's 23-year-old English midfielder Lewis O'Brien, who it has emerged has a £12m release clause in his contract. (Teamtalk)
O’Brien was wanted by Leeds United last summer, who saw a number of bids turned down by the Terriers.
Town kept hold of O’Brien and he signed a new contract until 2025. But we understand that included a release clause worth around £12m.
Leeds remain interested, having failed to sign anyone else in O’Brien’s position since. But they are not alone, with West Ham the latest team to join the hunt.
We understand Crystal Palace have also been checking on him in recent weeks, also joining Wolves, Burnley and Norwich City in pursuit of him.

It also goes on to say Bournemouth are willing to meet the release clause

Aye. If he'd have learned to get his head and knee over the ball and pass it into the net rather than leaning back and trying to take the roof of the net out, which invariably meant he blasted it way over the bar from 6-10 yds out when he played for us and missed more sitters than I care to remember, he might have had more of a career with the Prima Donna's rather than being down in the bottom half of the Chumpionship for most of his career since he left us. You'd have thought his "know it all" dad would have told him that bit of basic football let alone anyone who called themselves a half decent football coach at ours or Smoke-on-Stench.

Then again, I'm sure the Potters were paying him far more money than us when we came back down and his relegation clause kicked in, even if they've not done much better than us. At least we more or less broke even on that transfer deal, even if our purchase from Direby was "undisclosed". Those £2million add-on's likely never saw light of day given Smoke's dismal performances since they were relegated.
