HTFC January transfer window 2022 - Lord Snooty - 31-12-2021 We're being linked with Matt O'Reilly Oh really? No. O'Reilly. Sorry, one of my Grandad's old jokes. ![]() Anyway, he's 21 years old. Came through the Fulham Academy and was the EFL Young Player of the Month for November. He's scored 9 goals in 61 games for the Dons. RE: HTFC January transfer window 2022 - jjamez - 31-12-2021 theres a few at mk dongs we should be looking at, o'reilly being one of them, also worth noting he is 6 foot plenty, scott twine has also been impressive. i'd be tempted to cast a glance over panutche camara at plymouth, he looks very similar to o'brien in terms of play RE: HTFC January transfer window 2022 - theo_luddite - 01-01-2022 The Lewis O'Brien rumours are kicking off again - L666s (again), Newcastle (where do they get their money from?), Wolves, Burnalee and Norwich all mentioned in this piece of erm, rumour mongering, or as they call it, journalism. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/football/huddersfield-town-fc/ Or as I call it - bone bloody idle journalism. An 11 year old could dream this stuff up. These guys are saying we wanted £15 million. Er, where did that come from? We turned down £13 million because we didn't like the way L666s wanted to pay it, like as little as possible in up-front hard cash. PH on record for that. RE: HTFC January transfer window 2022 - Lord Snooty - 01-01-2022 If it's Newcastle, he's worth £30m If it's Leeds, £20m but they can't afford him. Wolves? Really? Not foreign enough. Burnley seems a good shout, but will Dyche fork out such dosh? Doubt it. RE: HTFC January transfer window 2022 - theo_luddite - 01-01-2022 If it was £13m in Summer it's at least £20m in January - that's the way it normally works for the panic jobs trying to stay north of the trap door isn't it? I reckon some clubs are just thrown in there to make it look like there's more interest than there really is/inflate the price/make the story look less incredible than it already is. Dyche/Burnalee won't offer more than L666s but he's more likely to get a regular game than at L666s. Then again, how many appearances did Nahki Wells make in Claret & Blue? We need someone else lined up to replace him though - and if we've got him lined up, why doesn't someone else? RE: HTFC January transfer window 2022 - WakeyTerrier - 04-01-2022 Well Dean told them to give him something to think about in the January transfer window, 6th in the League and even if teams were to win games in hand we would still be in touching distance of the play offs so lets see what happens or is it just another empty statement. Very unlike Dean Hoyle to make empty statements ![]() ![]() RE: HTFC January transfer window 2022 - theo_luddite - 04-01-2022 Mipo has gone back to West Ham, with Rhodes back fit again unlikely to be replaced. Corberan obviously didn't fancy him once he got him here so best for the lad to move on. RE: HTFC January transfer window 2022 - Lord Snooty - 04-01-2022 Waste of time him being here really. Might as well have stuck with Phillips on the bench. RE: HTFC January transfer window 2022 - Lord Snooty - 04-01-2022 Austerfield and Diarra both gone on loan to Harrogate Town. Both playing in the Papa John tonight. |
