The bastard in the black on Tuesday is Trevor Kettle - Oh Dear! One of the worst FL Referees.
This is only his second Championship match in over a year as he appears to be mainly restricted to L1 & L2 these days. They have brought him out of mothballs just to piss us off.
Jan 11 - Wednesday 2-2 Yeovil 6Y 2R - sent off two Yeovil players but denied us two clear penalties
Feb 10 - Forest 2-1 Wednesday 4Y - gave penalty when ball struck Darren Purse on the back
Sep 09 - Palace 0-0 Wednesday 4Y
Oct 07 - Wednesday 2-1 Blackpool 3Y
Nov 05 - Wednesday 1-3 Cardiff 3Y
Sept 05 - Wednesday 1-2 Millwall 3Y
Overall Record P6 W1 D2 L3
One great moment though (for me) was on Boxing Day 2005, Mr Kettle was refereeing United v Norwich. Back then I backed Wednesday to win 3-1 in every away match & United to lose 3-1 in every home match. United were top of the Championship but Norwich won 3-1 at 100/1 courtesy of an error by Nr Kettle.

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.
