THE LAST MATCH

So we can back down to earth with a bump in the last match!!  We get to talk about the potential of the playoffs only for it to be once again cruelly snatched from us!!   Not going to say too much as we have been discussing it all week with nothing else to talk about!!  For anyone bored enough to watch it again, here are the highlights!!




THE MATCH - TUE 27TH JAN 2015 KO 1945 GMT

So now we try to kick start our home form and go on another run starting with this one against Brum.  Brum have definitely improved since Rowlett took over, they looked certs for a relegation spot earlier in the season.  I suppose the aspect that is likely to decide this game though is not how they play but which of our Jekyll & Hyde teams turns up for this one!!   Hillsborough in the past has been a fortress for us, but these days it si far from that.  If we are to finish the season well then we have to start winning at home!!

This will be our 90th game against them and our record is W31 D24 L34, so fairly even.  We have won 3 out of the last 5 against them so lets hope we can continue to improve our record against them.  Here is our best recent performance against them and one we could do with this time out as well!!

Excuse the tardiness. Well, it's another game we really should win but Brum have shown signs of not wanting to go down this half of the season. I'd like to think we'd ever score more than 2 goals but unlikely.

Start Keane and possibly Baker too, but it's a gamble that Mr safe won't take.
