Huddersfield & Blackpool vs WBA - Match Thread

Modern football, the greed league, the media bias, the FA/FIFA/UEFA bias, the poaching of academy players, poor officiating, biased var, financial unfair play rules ..... Thorough all these things that have destroyed my love of football I still had Albion, a footballing family club with heart and commitment and a sense of fair play.

Roll on a few years, Pulis, Pardew, Big Sam, Val ....... And our traditions are in tatters.
The new hope of Chinese money came in with a flourish but now seems as dead as democracy in Hong Kong.

The chances of my returning to The shrine diminish with each appalling transfer and boardroom decision ...... I have suffered the lows of Bristol Rovers and sinking to division 3, the failed semi finals, the jokes, the jeers, all the nearly times .... but the dross of our performances before and since pulisball are pushing my love of the Albion to the end of my tether.

I can not even raise enough interest to be angry, sad or bothered by our current situation.

Albion til I die.

Every time I think, smile it can't get worse, I smile, and it gets worse. We have scraped the bottom of the barrel so much we have nearly broken thorough it. We need divine intervention .... BaggieVicar where are you, now is your time!!!!!

I remember a poster on here repeatedly saying DM was too thick to be a head coach...

I wonder what they think of Val? Whistle

Semi Ajayi must be wondering what he has to do to get a game.
Was at last nights match and Cedric Kipre is just not interested. Very poor.
At least Ajayi has pace and offers something at both ends of the pitch.
And yes, it was the Baggies superb away support singing ‘sack the board’, several times, especially late in the game.

Lots of arm flapping

Can’t pass it 5 yards to each other

What has happened to diagana? Since Matheus Pereira left his confidence is shot

Englands number 1 with 2 worldies

That's interesting - didn't see last night but in the highlights of the stiffs against Reading I noticed loads of arm-flapping going on. I wonder if there's a mood through the club of negativity/life-is-so-unfair/whatever. It's much healthier when people are geeing each other up and clapping, saying 'go for it next time', and so on.

Solve the anagrams to find Albion players who scored in away wins at Huddersfield or Blackpool:

1. Ray Barlow (vs Huddersfield)
2. Johnny Nicholls (vs Huddersfield)
3. LENINGRAD RAY (vs Huddersfield)
4. Andy Gray (vs Huddersfield)
5. Kenny Swain (vs Huddersfield)
6. MORNING ARSE (vs Huddersfield)
7. James Quinn (vs Huddersfield)
8. Adelino José Martins Batista (vs Huddersfield)
9. Christopher Wood (vs Huddersfield)
10. Graham Lovett (vs Blackpool)
11. Alec Jackson (vs Blackpool)
12. Robert Hope (vs Blackpool)
13. Ron Fenton (vs Blackpool)
14. Jeffrey Astle (vs Blackpool)
15. Graham Williams (vs Blackpool)
16. Allan Glover (vs Blackpool)
17. Willie Johnston (vs Blackpool)
18. Roman Bednar (vs Blackpool)
19. Alex Bradley (vs Blackpool)
20. Graham Dorrans (vs Huddersfield & Blackpool)

I'll give it till tomorrow for the remaining four. (I've filled in #2 myself as I dropped a bollock with the anagram, for some reason put it down as Stan Nicholls rather than Johnny Doh) The outstanding names are a cup winner (3), a striker of the 1990s (6), a player better known by a single name (8), and a striker of the 2000s (18).

I just have this feeling that if we lose or draw against Blackpool that's it  [Image: confused.png]  Meaning if we don't change our style of play or don't get in some really useful players, we will stay in the Championship - which to be honest i prefer anyway [Image: wink.png]

25-11-2021.

My thoughts haven't changed, its going to be a ding-dong to stay in the play-off's. Or am I being too hard on our team and we will be in the play-off'? Huh

personally, its as if the players do not know what to do................like they are scared to do something. I noticed it a few times, Bartley a few times, as if to say come on lads why are we attacking and i have the ball again................the way skys red button works, it hard to get a true grasp of what is happening further up the pitch

8. Jordao? I think he scored against Huddersfield and I can’t think of too many players with just one name.
They say that ignorance is bliss - no wonder so many people are happy.
