I agree that it would be really sad to see Mozza or Brunty go, but I hope that either way it wouldn't be a deal breaker. They are fantastic club men and have been for years, as we know, but the nature of today's game doesn't really allow for sentiment, does it? Any new HC must be able to work with people with similar ideas, surely?

I always think that having a support team forced on a manager undermines a new manager from the off. I agree with keeping club legends involved but there are other roles if they're not right for the new manager. If the chairman can't put his or her faith in the new manager, they've picked the wrong person.
