Me neither. They say the players haven't been forced to. I'm not sure about that.

Very strange decision. They say the players requested it. Really?

Great to see the power of social media prayers actually works though. Thumb up

Being reported by the Danish FA that Eriksen spoke to the players. I would imagine they want to get this game done and out of the way.

Denmark for the cup now

Normally you would imagine that the motivation a team can get from these situations might see them go on an win it. But in this case Eriksen’s absence will be too much for them, he is by far their best player and without him they are very ordinary as a team.

Well it wasn't in the script for Finland to go and score.

The report that it was the players' choice to finish the game might not be all that it has been reported as.

Why the obvious 3rd option of calling the game off and leaving it at 0-0 wasn't offered is basically down to the numpties at UEFA who are only in it for the money, as we all know.

Quote:Gareth Southgate includes Kieran Trippier, Raheem Sterling, Phil Foden and Mason Mount in his starting XI as England get under way against Croatia at Euro 2020.

That means there’s no place for Marcus Rashford, Jack Grealish and Luke Shaw, while Tyrone Mings and John Stones start in central defence.

England XI: Pickford, Walker, Stones, Mings, Trippier, Rice, Phillips, Mount, Foden, Sterling, Kane

No Chilwell? Huh

No Manyoo or Liverpool players.

Good first ten minutes but it's terribly dreary now. Like watching t Town.

Just about to slag Phillips off for being negative, then he does that. Laugh

Can’t see both Rice and Phillips playing against Scotland, think Southgate will put someone on further forward.
