EUROS - Baggiebob(BBB) - 26-05-2021

WILL WE WIN THE COMPETITION, OR WILL WE FLOP?

We have won zilch at the top level for so many years, can we do it this time or fail at the final hurdle - semis or final?

RE: EUROS - Lord Snooty - 26-05-2021

I couldn't give a toss, to be honest.

RE: EUROS - SHEP_HTAFC - 27-05-2021

We will win nowt with Southgate in charge.
Nice fella and all that but just not tactically aware when it really matters in a close game.
Screwed up v Croatia in WC semi's a few years ago.

1.16 today

RE: EUROS - WakeyTerrier - 27-05-2021

We've a good chance, the tricky bit will be the round of 16 IF we win our group. Portugal, Germany or France.

Personally I can't wait for it all to begin

RE: EUROS - theo_luddite - 27-05-2021

Got my 2nd jab tomorrow so that should have all kicked in to make me feel a bit safer watching this in the pubs.

Saw the landlady of the local turfing a bloke out who was er, worse for wear !! as I passed by the other day. Sent him flying up the street like a bowling ball - mind you he was built like a bowling ball on legs.

A couple of immaculate forward rolls just before the car park, though he'd have smashed his head or his teeth in if he hadn't.

RE: EUROS - Amelia Chaffinch - 27-05-2021

We had ours on Tuesday, theo! Not so many side effects with this one. Thumb up

RE: EUROS - theo_luddite - 28-05-2021

Snoots still keeping his wallet in his pocket then - still, it takes three weeks for the full effects to kick in Big Grin

RE: EUROS - WakeyTerrier - 28-05-2021

I'm surprised that I had my second jab in front of you all, had mine on Saturday, felt like crap on Sunday, aching all over and shivering.
So i went out for a gallon and woke up Monday feeling brand new

RE: EUROS - theo_luddite - 28-05-2021

I left it a couple of weeks or so from when given the OK to try and get a jab in the local sports hall, a short walk from where I live, but nearest I could get and pick a date was 10 miles away. A week later and I could have walked into the local sports hall without an appointment. As they booked 1st and 2nd at same time I couldn't be bothered with any more of the faff. I've taken the decision to have a couple of celebratery drinks in the local, so if I feel like crap I can have a few more tomorrow to make me feel better.

Like I need an excuse  Tongue
