 Fair enough, just wondered as top 2 of each group play each other if points continued, that's all.
Its a cup competition so after the group stages and each stage after that the points go back to zero.

Here are the standings and scores after the final round of group matches, Week 24 is the first round of the Qtr Finals.

Group 1
39 Lord Snooty - 11, 12, 14, 2
29 BBB - 10, 3, 20, -4
23 Sanjay - 1, 3, 10, 9
21 Themaclad - 0, 13, 7, 1
20 AAA - 7, 6, 11, -4

Despite a late charge by Sanjay its Lord Snooty and BBB that will play each other in the Quarter Finals.


Group 2
40 Bomber - 8, 21, 6, 5
38 Derby - 14, 11, 10, 3
31 Twerton - 13, 14, 4, 0
21 Amelia - 2, -1, 8, 12
19 St Charles - 0, 9, 12, -2

Defending Champion Bomber goes through as group winner and will play Derby in the next round.


Group 3
49 Silver - 4, 6, 19, 20
48 BaggieOne - 17, 15, 14, 2
27 Stairs - 12, 1, 11, 3
14 Zinman - 10, 0, 7, 7

BaggieOne loses his top spot to Silver but this group was never really in doubt with those two way ahead of the others in the end.


Group 4
57 Joker - 14, 10, 23, 10
50 Minizin - 16, 5, 17, 12
35 Somerset - 7, 6, 13, 9
32 Lady Jane - 9, 8, 11, 4
20 DD - 9, 5, 4, 2

By far the highest scoring group and Joker will play Minizin in the next round.

So the Quarter Finals are:

Game 1 - Lord Snooty v BBB
Game 2 - Bomber v Derby
Game 3 - Silver v BaggieOne
Game 4 - Joker v Minizin

Scores are reset to zero and the points from Week 24 and 26 will determine who goes into the semis. Game 1 & 2 winners will play each other and Game 3 & 4 winners will face each other in the semis.

As the worst scoring finalist, I'm just glad I wasn't in group 2, 3 and 4.

Scores are the first leg of the Quarter finals.

Game 1 - Lord Snooty 15 v 10 BBB
Game 2 - Bomber 20 v 10 Derby
Game 3 - Silver 18 v 13 BaggieOne
Game 4 - Joker 0 v 17 Minizin

After the first leg each game has a clear leader but none are ahead enough to be safe just yet!!  Minizin has the largest lead after a no show by Joker, followed by Bomber who has a 10 point lead over Derby. The other two games see 5 point leads for Lord Snooty and Silver.  Week 26 is the 2nd leg.

It's all to play for re Lord Snoots and me. So 1-0 for me and 2-1 for him will decide who goes thru, and if Southampton win, i go thru.
Similar with Silver and Baggie 1, with Silver predicting 2-1 and Baggie1 3-1 as to who goes thru, and if away win Silver goes thru.
Bomber and Minizin look safe.
