Prediction League Cup Competition 2020/21 - St Charles Owl - 18-02-2021
Sorry, forgot to post this a couple of weeks ago. I will update the standings later.
The prediction league cup kicked off a couple of weeks ago, won by Bomber last year. The same set of fixtures and scores from each week will count towards each round of the group stages and knockout stages. League points are not affected, they still count towards the table as they always do.
Group matches will take place during weeks 16, 18, 20 & 22.
The top 2 from each group will then face off against each other in the quarter finals knockout stage over 2 legs using weeks 24 & 26.
The winners of those then meet in 2 legged semi finals in weeks 28 & 30,
The final will be a straight sudden death result using the last weeks league fixtures for scoring.
Guaranteed to be a Premiership & Championship predictor in the final.
An online random number sequence generator was used to determine the groups for each league based on the current standings, here are the groups:

Lord Snooty has a nice lead but that 2nd spot is up for grabs for everyone else.
Group 2

25 Derby - 14, 11,
9 St Charles - 0, 9,
1 Amelia - 2, -1,
Is this the group of death?? Three cracking scores at the top led by Bomber!!
Group 3
32 BaggieOne - 17, 15,

10 Silver - 4, 6,
10 Zinman - 10, 0,
Does BaggieOne have this on in the bag? Huge 19 point lead for him at the halfway point, 2nd place is there for the taking by the rest.
Group 4
24 Joker - 14, 10,
21 Minizin - 16, 5,
17 Lady Jane - 9, 8,
14 DD - 9, 5,
13 Somerset - 7, 6,
The closest of all 4 groups with just 11 points separating all 5 players. Joker is currently leading with Minizin just behind.

Bomber beat Amelia in the final, thats all I remember. You will need to go through the WBA pages to find the thread.

BBB jumps up to second but LS still leading.
Group 2
35 Bomber - 8, 21, 6
35 Derby - 14, 11, 10

9 Amelia - 2, -1, 8
Definitely a close group, the top 3 now only 4 points apart!! SCO gives himself a chance in the final week but it looks like its 2 from the top 3.
Group 3
46 BaggieOne - 17, 15, 14
29 Silver - 4, 6, 19
24 Stairs - 12, 1, 11
17 Zinman - 10, 0, 7
Baggie one is surely through, 2nd spot now in Silver's hands but Stairs is still only 5 points down.
Group 4
47 Joker - 14, 10, 23
38 Minizin - 16, 5, 17
28 Lady Jane - 9, 8, 11
26 Somerset - 7, 6, 13
18 DD - 9, 5, 4
This was the closest group, but not anymore!! Joker shoots into the lead with his fine week and Minizin seems to have his grasp on 2nd place. The rest need a stellar week in the last games to overcome the lead the top 2 have.

Its a cup competition so after the group stages and each stage after that the points go back to zero.
