Crazy that we ended the game with 5 on target to their 3, shows the lack of quality up front is not unique to us!!

Agree with that, he had an excellent game at CH. Lees is also playing well at the moment and Palmer didn't put a foot wrong today. Midfield is where we are lacking and obviously up front as well.

Fantastic 3 pts ..out of the bottom 3 at last 2 home wins on the trot as well is also good .
The football and footballers apart from a few are flucking awfull I've not seen such shit since Alan irvine was here .
80% of that team as s pub league they can do the basics ..infact this te would or will struggle in the pub league to stay up !

It is poor most of the time but currently they are battling for 90 mins, probably the one thing we can thank Pulis for!! We will likely lose more than we win but beating teams near us in the table is key to our survival. We are definitely better than a few teams at the moment and if we can add a bit of steel in the middle of the park and add a half decent striker then I think we can avoid the drop.

Our problem is when we don't score first, we only seem to be able to win if we score first, one down and we collapse like a pack of cards usually. We managed that today as much through our own efforts as through their lack of a quality striker.

You are far too harsh on Palmer, he did a good job today and if you are just picking one mistake in the whole game then no player will have any chance with you!! We have more wins than every team up to 15th place, and while we all know we are not good enough for anything other than that we now have something for a new manager to build on. Thompson has done the right thing in playing two up front and letting the players play instead of sticking them into a rigid system that they aren't good enough to stick to.

We seem to be picking up a lot of injuries even by our standards too. Looking at the state of the pitch and the effort people are putting in its not too surprising.
