Yeah, everybody plays the 11 that never start a game (until the semi's) and nobody watches it (until the semi's) - so perfect for social distancing then. Tongue

Start 12 Sept and Finish 8/9 May

That leaves 35 Weekends.

From that you can take out 10/11th October and 14/15th November for the planned International breaks and another one next march for World Cup qualifying

That takes us down to 32 Weekends

Factor in the FA Cup, rounds 3 and 4 are usually on a weekend.

Weekend fixtures now down to 30

That now leaves us with 16 midweek fixtures in the League

Now you have to add on League Cup fixtures, possible FA Cup fixtures further down the line and the complication of playing teams that have qualified for Europe.
I'm glad I'm not the one doing the fixture planning for next season.

It's a crazy situation. Pep and Jose will be wetting themselves.
At least with them keeping the extra subs rule, those with big squads will be ok.
But what if this predicted second wave of the virus turns up? Or the more traditional bad weather and we get loads of games postponed?
It's gonna be madness.

And now they're saying that the clubs still involved in the current season's European competitions will be starting the new season late. Doh

Won't affect anyone in the Chumpionship tho' will it that European thing?

The Prima Donnas only play 3 games a month as it is until December when the fixtures suddenly go to 2 a week. Why they can't have any midweek games for the first 3-4 months is beyond me. They could do at least one each month.

Come on then..who bought a season card for the upcoming season?

I was waiting until the deadline that never arrived.

If the plan is to have reduced capacity and ballots for every game then i think my money may well be staying in my pocket and me watching the games on a dodgy ifollow stream

I just wish they'd let us know something.

Bought mine almost as soon as they came out. Wasn't a good month, I also paid £500 for a flight to Canada (for Easter) that never happened and I still haven't been refunded for.

To be honest - at £250 I'll take iFollow for another (very) few weeks as long as it continues with home and away games but beyond that I expect to be allowed in to most games even if it means I have to move the odd seat sideways or up and down the stand a bit occasionally. Sod the lottery for every game, you never win that, use the points means prizes and tickets basis that meant away tickets could be bought in the Prima Donna League and the fact that I paid early, stoopidly early maybe, but they've got my money to spend as they wish as I didn't put it on a credit card. If it was on a credit card they couldn't cash it until they play games and I could demand a refund through VISA for each game I wasn't allowed in for (maybe).

If I'd stumped up some crazy figure 4x that amount (can't think who'd be daft enough to charge those prices in The Chumpionship Whistle) I'd be expecting a seat in amongst the socially distanced directors, somewhere near Oggy and his barber.

The dodgy streams I've tried rarely seem to last the whole game before someone pulls the plug, or they trip over the cable. Most times they fall over at half-time and never come back.
