The various selections seem to me to pretty well give away the approximate ages of all us Baggie fans.
So just to prove a point.:-
Knights in White Satin- The Moody Blues
C'mon Everybody- Eddie Cochrane
Dream:- Everley Brothers
You've lost that loving feeling- Righteous Brothers
and perhaps out of character but a beautiful song:-
The Garden- Rush (So many wonderful songs to choose from)
R.I.P. Neil Sadly missed but never forgotten!
Some days I'm top dog, most days I'm just the lamp post.

Nah, my youth was rocking to Ugg the Cave-dweller and the Other Cave-Dwellers, hitting stones with a reindeer antler. Borodin came later.

You entitled young brats with your caves and your multicellular organisms. I remember when Paramecium spent the whole summer at number 1 with Primordial Ooze.

I love popular music as much as anyone on here but if I'm stuck on a desert island I want a lot more than a playlist of nice songs that are over and done with in half an hour. I like Baggievicar's choice of Allegri's Miserere and would be tempted to smuggle that one in. I want more much more playing time and music that I find both comforting and spiritually uplifting.
1. Bach Brandenburg Concerto No 2.
2. Vaughan Williams "The Lark Ascending".
3. Bach Concerto for 2 violins.
4. Elgar Pomp and Circumstance (Land of Hope and Glory) (to remind me of England).
5. Bach Brandenburg Concerto No 5.
If I could I would also smuggle Insomnia in, for obvious reasons.
Incidentally does anyone agree with me that Land of Hope and Glory would make a better National Anthem for us?
