Joe Collier, George Mack (headmaster), Griffen, Monty (Beaumont), Colin Smith, John Nicholls, Pharoah Smith, Killer Johnson, Alf Ridler, Polly Stansfield, SEP Presgrave, Sid Hoffmann, Tom Haller, Pole Robinson..................
Used Latin and Greek all the time when I studied Anatomy and Physiology. Helped me remember names of body parts.
And it gives me that cultured profile that I've maintained ever since.

I was in Herring house, can't remember what it was called before that though. The other houses were Catcliffe, Hoffman and the last one escapes me at the moment!!

Thats right, had her for German one year, always had us say "Guten Morgen Frau Cary" at the beginning of every lesson!!!

In my day houses were Saxons, Normans, Picts, Goths, Trojans, Jutes, Franks. can't remember any more.
