I’m sure everyone had heard the rumour of Chris Brunt possibly going to the elephant’s graveyard known as Stoke City. I’ll be honest and say that, whilst I was disappointed that Fletcher and Berahino went there, it didn’t exactly ruin my day. However, if Brunty was to go there I’d be absolutely gutted. I love the man, I believe he’s a legend at our club and I’d hate to see him playing anywhere else. I understand why he might want to go in order to get playing time but I’d bloody hate it.
Anyone else feel like me?

Steve - yes, I agree, but he will hardly get a game, or even part of a game, with us.
Shame about the fact it's Stoke but how many offers will he have?
Great bloke, great player, great club man, but (maybe) it's time.

Yeah, while I'd wish him all the best in any move, at this point in his career my personal preference would be to either see him hang up his boots at Albion and move straight into coaching for us, or else drop down a division or two for the last few seasons. Wouldn't be keen on seeing him turn out against us after all these years, especially in a Stoke shirt. But obviously it's his choice at the end of the day.

I'd be really sorry to see him leave, absolutely love his loyality to us and he's been a great servant.
I would also love to see him at the club in a coaching role when he decides to hang up his boots, but if he feels he has a couple more seasons left in him and he's struggling to get game time with us, then I for one would wish him all the very best wherever he goes. (Would prefer it not be Sjoke City though).
