Nope.

I don't know about anyone else but does anyone really identify our players? The only two who I identify is Denton and Boden. There aren't any fan favourites like there was with Lester, Talbot, Roberts, Lee, Niven, Blatherwick, Armand, Doyle, Evatt etc. Ever since Cook left it feels like the relationship between the fans and the club is deeply fractured.

Fans favorites have nothing to do with the fractures in the club. By the way I now have that glorious thing called an internet connection thanks to partaking in the ritual of parting with yet more money.
The fracture in the club is down to one man and thats Dave Allen. He's like Boris and Trump, surrounding themselves with yes men who will one by one get shot down taking the flack for anything that goes askew.
Chris Turner was the main fall guy, problem was he was the one who understood football and how it works (crooked). That left Mr Carson who it would appear knows nothing about football but knows far too much about DA and his business dealings for DA to even to consider getting rid of him.
Carson was the kiss of death as far as the fans were concerned and he seemed to have taken great delight in driving the wedge even deeper knowing full well DA would do nothing to reign him and things got steadily worse.
Between them they have completely messed up time after time with press releases, managerial appointments, player signings (Ched Evans, Gerrard and Brookes to mention 3) they were involved in with plus complete miss management of business affairs including customer relations.
Things wont change anytime soon.

Losing on a regular basis makes it difficult to become a favourite with the fans. Will Evans ought to be a favourite - a natural captain, scores at one end takes the gloves and saves a last-minute penalty at the other …….. Scott Boden is a bit too whey-faced and his play doesn't exude character enough to be loved. Denton might be loved like an oddity - a giraffe living wild in Iceland …….. Fondop-Talom could make himself loved like he was in his early days at Wrexham, but might be a bit too serious for the fans, and Mandeville has the name (oh Mandy) and talent but not the desire to get involved. Amantchi has everything to make him loved but he doesn't get to play at the Proact.

I'm sure the less fans feel involved in the club the less likely they are to generate love …… and the feeling the club has been stolen from them is widespsread.
