He was certainly back to his best yesterday. Brilliant saves and no chance with the goal. That’s more like it.

Absolutely World
But I must say the away fans seem to support him more than the home fans who sarcastically cheer when he catches one ...
Maybe at home if we all got behind him he could become a great keeper for us ,won us the points yesterday no doubt !

Great to see Sam getting the credit he deserves.
Saved the game for us on more then one occasion yesterday.
No chance with the goal, top corner fluke.

He's a bit dodgy with his feet though. Nervous every time he passes it out from the back!
Never had an issue though, great shot stopper and he's starting to get comfortable commanding his area and taking crosses.

With Sams stock raising every day as we top the championship and those ahead of him falling. Even Hart and Butland have disappeared from the scene.
Englands No1 Pickford is conceding goals for fun, how long will it be before Southgate puts SJ into the England squad.
IMO Henderson is Englands best keeper atm and Sam is 2nd with Pickford 3rd.
What do others think ?

We're now unquestionably seeing the keeper that Villa fans sang the praises of a couple of years ago. That save at Preston was as good as they come, especially as he was unsighted for a crucial split-second. However, even though Southgate does tend to cast his net wider than previous England bosses, I still think he'd probably want some Prem experience behind Sam before dropping him in at the deep end.
In related news, every time I watch Watford nowadays, Foster seems to have turned into Zuberhowler. I wouldn't have said so this time last year, but right now I'm very, very glad with which one we've got between the sticks.
