Bilic brought Oxford through at West Ham so it’s either putting two and two together or he’s on Bilic’s wish list.

To be honest Reece Oxford has never been good enough in my opinion for the Bundesliga. Whenever I saw him play for Augsburg last season, he always looked a bit out of his depth. He has pace but lacks good ball control at that level and his decision making was inconsistent. He would for example go towards the speedy winger down the channel and jump in rather than standing off and trying to slow the attacker down. It also shouldn’t be forgotten that Rani Khedira, a defensive midfielder, was chosen ahead of Oxford at centre back in the final months of the season. That could why the deal has “collapsed”.

With us though he wouldn’t be at that same level so could be a good signing if he gets regular game time.

Similar to Burke - flatters to deceive, but we have gaps to fill, if he's cheap he's could be worth a punt.

Not been on the site for a while. But thanks to Stairs i can post. Every day i log on hoping we have appointed someone dynamanic like Daniel Farka ( Norwich Bloke).... alas no joy. SB is NOT (in my humble opinion) the one, I'd rather have had Steve Clarke or RDM back. Any chance of some exciting wingers been looked at by our Scouts?. Today's game is all about pace... something we will need going forward,

TAKE NOTE
But, with instructions to reduce the wage bill from chief executive Mark Jenkins, Bilic will need to wheel and deal in a hectic couple of months before the start of next season, to make his appointment a successful one.
Looks like we will be selling before buying - I thought we had reduced the wage bill enough already, apparently not.
Say cheerio to JRod, Dawson, Gibbs and maybe Hegazi as well. (The main players who will fetch good money) and we should still have £16M for Rondon.
As long as Bilic gets all the money to spend on new players fair enough. If Jenkins short changes him god help us.

You might be interested to hear that a former Albion player has just signed for Cheltenham.

Namely Tahvon Campbell.

He's had a few clubs since he left the shrine. Is he any good??

A few interesting players available on "free's"
Obviously ADRIAN as Josh pointed out. - I'd be tempted to sign him and listen to offers for Johnstone?
Cahill from Chelsea still has a season or two left in him.
Masterson a young liverpool defender who can't get a game
Scott (Kyle) Chelsea young midfielder
James Wilson Man Utd young striker - great earlly goal scoring record - worth a free
