WBA vs Rotherham - Match Thread

Just 180 minutes of football now lie between Albion and the playoffs, and having secured our place, it's now a case of seeing whereabouts in the lottery we fetch up. There remains the slimmest of chances that we could snatch 3rd place and dodge Villa with two wins to finish the season, provided Leeds manage no more than one point; that possibility is boosted by the fact that Leeds are up against Villa this weekend.

However, we also have to fulfil our end of the bargain, and on Saturday that entails beating a Rotherham side still fighting to escape relegation. It's one of those that could prove a banana skin, and the last thing Albion need is to consider it job done for the normal season and start daydreaming about the playoffs. Three points are a must here.

We never win our must win games?
I will go for a Desmond - no clean sheet this week, they are fighting for every point they can get.
I hope our players are not on the beach just yet.

No way will we get third, Rotherham home Derby away, Leeds have Vile home and Ipswich away, more than one point there I think.

Hoping now that Leeds realise they are in the playoffs and kick fooking great lumps out of Grealish so that he either gets injured or gets a straight red for retaliation and misses the rest of the season ....... if we turn up we can beat vile but which Albion will show ....... answers on a postcard ......

Why bring in a manager or assistant in until to the end of the season when that is four or five games ...... needed to be brave three years ago and bin pulis instead he got a new contract, should have been brave when BD left and signed a real coach / manager. Too little too late ....... fear a grizzly Adams ..... a long life in the wilderness.

Come on you Baggies.

John McGinn is the guy who makes the seals tick, stop him and you stop them.
McGinn - Mings - Grealish - Abrahams need some lumps kicking from them, I'm sure "Dirty" Leeds will be only to happy to oblige. Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

A pigeon has just flown into the box near us. About 20% of the crowd are watching it, and they give a cheer when it eventually flies out after a couple of minutes.
Says a lot about the action on the pitch, Rotherham well on top Laugh Doh

Play offs assured, but absolutely no momentum, no form, no passion and no idea. I fear that this is the pinnacle for the club now and it will be down hill from here.
