Some sad news....
We are mourning the loss of Club Secretary Simon Carrington at the age of just 34.
Our thoughts are with Simon's family at this desperately sad time.

2022 World Cup 48 countries to take part in finals games in other countries in that region

Something's going on in my small brain, but I've either lost my patriotism or I've lost my love of the game!
Couldn't have cared less about the England match last night, and I only watched it in parts.
Didn't know 3 or 4 of the players, but Southgate did (!) and they looked good enough for me. How long before it's Sir Raheem Sterling?

Yeah, same with me. Qualifiers are always a bit like that, especially early in the campaign. But England do look to be going from strength to strength.

Guys,
I think your right, I love my country, I support them in whatever sport they play but I have lost interest in the modern game, I always watched England games, I barely watch the Albion now, the results still hurt like hell, still follow the Baggies with all my heart but can't get any interest in the current football set up, when I was growing up there was 92 teams in English football now there is 6 ....... the FA don't care about any of the others, the media do not know any others exists unless one of the 6 play badly and the training team get a win ........ We had four divisions in my youth, now we have six, the three EFL divisions, the greed league relegation league, the greed league happy to be also ran's league and the greed league FA league of six. It's killing me, it's killing the game, every year I meet more and more people who are not interested in football ...... it used to be the first thing out of people's mouths on a Monday morning, did you see the football etc etc not anymore.
Now to last night
Wasn't sure about Southgate but he seems to have got England playing better, playing as a team not a collection of club players, maybe England will win some meaningful silverware in my lifetime, never thought I would see it ...... but just maybe.
Well done England ......

I’m really happy seeing Sancho play for England. He took a big risk by leaving Man City to go to Dortmund in a new country with a new language but it has really worked for him. I was a little worried for him at the beginning of the season because Lucien Favre started using him on the right wing for Dortmund rather than on the left wing but it has worked out well and I hope he can continue his form for Dortmund and keep his place in the England side long term.
As for the match, I watched the first 25 minutes and then turned over because I lost interest. Even though I’m English, I’m not an England fan but I’m always happy to see them doing well.

England have become an experimental bunch of kids IMO, they have little or no connection with the general public.
The moving of games to Sky ruined the feeling of the whole public being part of it.
Where are our hero's - Kane is the only player who reaches the countries expectations of a class player.
I watched about 5 minutes of last nights game and was not interested in Sterlings goals, mainly because I'm sick of reading about his racist remarks in the media. Lets face it! our hero's are now all foreigners and we see them every week, would England beat any of the top 6 PL teams - I very much doubt it.
We no longer hold the England team in high esteem.

Well, for the record, I'm REALLY interested in England for the first time for quite a few years!
When they lost to Iceland under Roy a couple of years ago, I wasn't watching, and I actually laughed. They were boring, uninspiring, passing back and sideways all the time, seemingly without any desire or ability to create a chance.
Now, and I think it's all down to Gareth Southgate, they're fast, skilful, energetic, and are prepared to take a chance.
Hate most PL football and footballers and the huge egos, but England now DO do it for me!
Great credit to GS IMHO
