Harvey Barnes asks to play for WBA for the rest of the season Friday
Saturday gets picked to play for Leicester from the start
Oooops
Now Barnes has just a screamer into the left hand corner of the net
Ah well suppose it was against Wo1ve5

Barnes ain't coming back, we are more likely to lose the quality players we still have than recruit any real talent other than holgate, promotion is a pipe dream under the current administration, and lai will drain the life blood from the club. We are destined to be the next Blackpool or Portsmouth.
I know I'll be hammered for saying that, and hope I am completely wrong, but I won't be.

I totally agree with you, the writing is on the wall. One thing confirmed to me about Lai and that was when he let IDEAL take his companies logo off the shirts and let IDEAL BOILERS become our sponsor. If anyone was a mulit billionaire would you let such a thing happen? It clearly showed he wasn't investing a penny and would take whatever money he could. He has no MORALS OR STANDARDS. Unless we get a new owner we are going downhill. Nothing football. industry anything should be sold to the Chinese unless you want it to be stripped and closed down. Sadly that's what they are like, just look around at anything they have invested in - its all bravado to begin with, then empty promises and quick stripping of assets after. It's just their nature - it's everywhere within the Chinese environment. I don't know! but I would bet £5 of my money, parts of our ground and other assets are already being used as collateral for loans. The beauty of this is Lai doesn't have to show this in the books. It's no surprise he is avoiding the place, when the truth comes out he will have a price on his head. I will wait for the response again from the posters on here. Please remember I'm not the devil, its the people running the club.
We had £15 million to buy Dack in August apparently before we sold Chadli - then £12 million for Chadli that's £27 million - now we have got nothing. Where has that money gone - the recruitment team and Jenkins need to explain it please.

Barnes IS coming back.
Giles, that is.
So - we were doing him a favour to get his fitness back by training with us. It seems as if we then took him to Dubai too, and if this is to be believed, he's going to be offered a contract.
You just couldn't make it up could you.

If Darren signs him - he must be part of the asset strippers and sold his soul out to Jenkins. I have always respected Darren, his IQ level leaves a little to be desired, but this shows how he sees the future of our club. Another mate who gets a free session in Dubai and a contract, I don't know what's going on any more - the lunatics have taken over. I'm going to start following another club as the demise of WBA is going to be painful.

Phil I feel your pain and what seems to be happening at our club is frightning.
But I suggest comments like I will support another club is quiet frankley the worst comment I have ever witnessed on sports babble and confirms to me wether you are actually a true supporter.
Because a sticky situation we may be in but it swings and roundabouts in football hence through thick or thin like Bobby Goulds year's I will always fight and support my club all the way all the time and NEVER support amother club
That comment is nothing less than a disgrace.
Change team then change boards as I for one will not be sad to lose posters who make such disgraceful posts like that

Phil Penn gets a lot of stick for wearing his heart on his sleve, but rest assured he's not the only one that feels that way.
The writing is on the wall, WBA as a club are fooked unless there is a massive change in leadership and direction. I keep saying I want nothing more than to be proven wrong and would gladly accept all the stick if I am, but i just don't see anything other than championship mediocrity in our future.

It's all getting a little heated on here, I have to agree with Beefy, this is West Brom, we've had s*** and good times, this is somewhere inbetween. Gould days, sitting behind losing to Woking and singing sack the board was truly desperate, away at Chester and Exeter, years of mediocrity. I honestly think the current coach/team can't really do much more under the circumstances, it's irrelevant if you've supported them for 5 years or 50 years, it's not a p!$$!ng competition, were all feeling the pain at the moment. But I have to say Phil Penn, you are whining like a _____ you fill the gap?!. Talk of us being Walsall is laughable and stupid at the least, if you think our current position warrants hysteria, it might be an idea for you to go and follow somebody else or go into a dark quiet room, take your medication and breathe, please!!!
I guarantee you if we win tonight which in Albion style probably wont happen, everybody will see our position differently in the morning, if we win, we are in touching distance of promotion, still early but still not a bad effort from a coach with a low I.Q.!!! and a team of ageing status and a ruck load of loans, lets just continue to enjoy the rollercoaster that is the Albion, give them our support and get behind them!!!
