1-1. Jordan Rhodes.

Barnes came on at half time for Leicester ahead of Gray and Ghezzal. That’s positive for him.

1-1 full time.

That leaves us 4th 3 points behind Norwich and Sheffield Utd.

Not a disaster but another late equaliser when you hsve been the better team, thus falling further behind Leeds anf Sheff Utd hurts us, and underlines my belief we are top 6 rather than top 2.

Another late goal conceded, coinciding once again with Moore forgetting to use subs. These things keep happening but Moore never learns. You should use them to freshen up your team. Angry

1 or 2 more deals this January and we should solidify top 6.

Darren's stupidity yes STUPIDITY in not using his subs again cost us 5 points on Norwich today.

Need a couple of signings in really, 2 players out injured, one suspension and we're left with a bench of players Moore clearly doesn't trust, and I can understand his reasons, (although Hoolahan remains underused imo). Had the better of the game overall and needed to take our chances better especially knowing that a late goal is inevitable against norwich though. Not too disheartened with the performance though, think the midfield trio complimented each other very well for the most part and all put in strong performances.

GREAT START, DISMAL END. How many points have we lost from winning positions, and bottom teams? I don't know but it seems a lot. Huh

I didn’t agree with Darren’s starting 11 today and I was quite harsh with my criticism but to be fair to him it did work well in that first half (I will be reserving my criticism next time for if it’s needed) especially with Holgate and Gibbs pushing forward and putting crosses in and the movement of the three strikers.

Where he messed up was in the second half. As soon as Norwich brought off Buendia and brought on Srbeny, Darren should have been looking to make a change in the following ten minutes as Norwich started to get more into the game. For a start he could have brought off one of our three strikers and brought on Leko and gone to a 4411 with Leko covering Holgate and Brunt on the left covering Gibbs and one of the remaining strikers playing deeper than the other. Instead he didn’t change it and Norwich kept pushing. When he eventually made the change, it was like for like with Sako on for Gayle and then Leko was a waste of a substitution.

Darren’s problem this season has been his substitutions. Sometimes he has been very good and other times complacent. He no longer has the supporting excuse of being a novice Head Coach because he’s over half the season through so far. He really does need to find more consistency and if needs be have even more help on the touchline from Jones and Shan.

Anyway, we’re only 3 points off Norwich and Sheffield United so we’re still ok. Norwich are in somewhat of an inconsistent patch now and I’m still certain that Leeds will have a typical Bielsa second half of the season.

Josh - I've given up with Darren, as long as he is in charge were going nowhere.
At least I'm glad you have now left the "he's a novice excuse camp"
Come into the light my friend - its less painful - it's the hope that gets us.

I enjoyed the game yesterday. We showed an attacking intent but didn't put our chances away. Plus points were:- Harper - had a super game until he tired after 70mins or so, Hegazi was a rock (or pyramid) at the back, Barry is continuing his excellent form. Gayle back in from injury and scoring!
Minus points: Big Dave needed to freshen things up after 70 mins but he didn't and it probably cost us all three points, Robson Kanu, (the Welsh Wizard!?) is a waste of space and brings nothing to the team! Brunt is a passenger and despite all he has done for our club I feel he should be on the bench to start with.
Hope we can get a positive result at Bolton on Monday week as Norwich and Sheffield United are playing each other in the next couple of weeks so we will be very much in touch with the top two if we can get a good win.
