Town v Brighton

Town come into this one on a high having won at Wolves on Sunday teatime with 2 great goals from Aaron Mooy and a few nearly goals from Mooy, Mounie and Billing. Not just that, it was our first away win away since February. Sure, Wolves are in freefall having had a good start (ring any bells?) .... not that you would have believed they had been on a bad run listening to the pundits talking them up and us down before the match.  Whistle
So it turns out that it's not just our defenders that can score goals ... I know, I know, I am stretching a point there. But, we do have a new top scorer with Mooy now leading the way on 2.
Our form is therefore W, D, W going into this one. That's right, I am only working on the last 3.  Tongue

The Seagulls drew 1-1 at home to Leicester last Saturday and had 2 losses away to Cardiff and Everton previously, losing 2-1 and 3-1 respectively.
Their top scorer is Glenn Murray on 7.

We have a fair to middling record against Brighton in recent times. They haven't beaten us at home since 17th Nov 2012.
We got a consolation goal from Simon Church that day, his one and only goal for Town.

Izzy Brown has played for both, having been on loan from Chelsea with us until our promotion. This was followed by a stint with Brighton last season. He's now taken the wrong path altogether.

Rajiv van La Parra had a loan spell at BHA from Wolves prior to joining us on loan and subsequently transferring.

Kieran O'Regan, midfielder, one-time goalkeeper and ex-pundit for Town, started his senior career at Brighton.

If he predicts a defeat for us again, let's hope he's just as wrong.

Who's your best and worst pundit?

Nice bit of artwork to kick off with there AmChaff Thumb up and a rare pic of Seamus O'Rubbish playing in goal too. Thumb up Thumb up lol. He wouldn't have been the biggest player on the side if he was playing Under 11's, what made him think he was a keeper?

Another team who we seem to play really well against, recently anyway. Let's hope we keep this unbeaten run going and maybe climb another spot, or maybe 2 after the Mackem's noisy neighbours won at Burnalee on Monday.

Pundits? Smartass What do they know? Best part of 2½ seasons writing us off and they still haven't learned. Doh No time for any of them tbh. Most of them couldn't manage to pay a bar bill let alone manage a team, but they all know how to do it with a hundred action replays and, "well, in my day ......". How many World Cup Winners Medals have they got between them? Almost as many as me some of them. Whistle

Like Canadian weather forecasters, right now they are busy forecasting snow every day for the next month because they know that one day soon, they might just get it right. Don't see many oo the BBC or that bunch of Skysters getting it right with us any time soon.

Worst pundits have to be those dinosaurs who sit in with Jeff Stelling on a Saturday afternoon. The game has moved on. They haven't. In particular, that scruffy old tramp Merson.
But let them keep on dissing us. We have a knack of making them look foolish. Ain't that right, Gonzo? Laugh

Best pundits atm on sky are danny Higginbotham and alex scott are both clued up and fair. I dont mind david prutton or some of the more recently retired players like neil mellor and matt murray, granted they are learning the tv ropes but generally they come across more balanced than the old heads like thommo and charlie nicholarse

A sultry 8°, if you believe the Beeb weather forecast. That's similar to last weekend down here which I didn't think was too bad. The common tater on 5 Live said he was freezing in his thermals last Sunday but I was quite toasty in amongst the Town fans.

Yeah I'm back now, landed last night.

8°? Sweet jesus! It was 31° on average during the day with 90% humidity, the feel was about 36°. According to the forecast over there and on my phone we had two days when temps got to 35° and felt like 41°.

Please feel sorry for me...
