Week 16 scores also counted towards the cup competition, week 20 will be the last scoring week when the top 2 from each group will go through to the knock-out stages.

   

With 2 good weeks behind him, St Charles could still afford a minus week to keep him out in front, 12 points clear of both BBB and Matt who are neck and neck for the other qualifying spot. Beefy and Zinman both dropped places and will need a massive turnaround in scores to stand any chance of qualifying.
If ever a 20+ week was called for it's now  

   

Themaclad's ultra consistent season has given him an odds on chance of qualifying out of a depleted Group B as he has an 18 point buffer going into the last week of these stages. Quantum sits in the second qualifying spot and goes into the final week with a 5 point advantage over 4eva but a correct result Bonus would give him that 5 point swing   . Bomber needs a mini miracle to get involved in the knock-out stages but not as great as the one Beefy needs  

   

Group C looks to be 2 from 3 as Worldclass took full advantage of some lowly scoring this week and opened up a 6 point lead over Sanjay in the other qualifying spot, moving up into 2nd and replacing Derby who dropping to 3rd although only a couple of points separate them. Snooty is a fair way back and probably out of the running and Amelia only has a total of 5 points to show for 30 predictions, both have what looks an impossible task needing a near maximum last week and on current form that looks to be the longest of longshots.

   

Twerton seems to save his best weeks for cup weeks and so it proved again as he carved out a healthy 14 point lead over another surprise package in 2nd in the shape of Joker who managed to get his best week for a while to coincide with week 3 of the group stages. BaggiOne will still fancy his chances of progressing if he can find another decent week next time around, whereas Stairs looks destined for the wooden spoon spot after only amassing 10 points from the 3 weeks to date.

Week 20 saw the culmination of the Group stage games of the cup competition, and we now know the 8 who head into the quarter finals which will be 2 legged affairs using the points scored in week 23 and week 26.

Late surges at the right time by Matt and BaggieOne saw them take their place amongst the last 8.
