Prediction League/Prediction Cup - bomberbrown1968 - 29-09-2017
In week 8 after the international break next week the Prediction Cup will begin.
The top 5 & bottom 5 from both leagues will split into 4 groups of 5, and on week 8 your weekly scores will also start be points for the Cup group stages. The prediction league will be unchanged it’s just that your points for that week will also count for the Cup group.
The group stages will use points from week 8, week 12, week 16 and week 20 before the top 2 from each group will progress to the knockout stage.
The last 8 will then compete over 2 legs made up of your points from week 24 and week 28, which will give us a last 4 for 2 leg semis using your points from week 30 and week 32.
The Final will probably be the last set of fixtures for the season at a rough estimate week 36 or 37, if we all last that long
, with hopefully title winners, relegation places, promotion and cup winners all decided on the last “Super Sunday”Double winner? Promotion & Cup winner? Relegation & Cup winner? or an underdog from mid table who keeps their season going till the last day.
As I said before nothing will change on the normal league, the very same scores will be used in the cup, just the points for certain weeks will just give you a chance of a cup run

Bomber this sounds great, the only slight change would be where your showing week 20 in both group stages and last 8, maybe last 8 using weeks 22 and 24 ....

After week 7 results
Group A – Top 5 from Premiership
Group B – Top 5 from Championship
Group C – Bottom 5 from Premiership
Group D – Bottom 5 from Championship
Week 8 scores also count towards group stage
Week 12 scores also count towards group stage
Week 16 scores also count towards group stage
Week 20 scores also count towards group stage
Top 2 from each group qualify for knockout stage
Match 1 - Winner group A v Runner up group C
Match 2 - Winner group B v Runner up group D
Match 3 - Winner group C v Runner up group A
Match 5 - Winner group D v Runner up group B
Week 23 scores also count towards quarter final 1st leg
Week 26 scores also count towards quarter final 2nd leg
Winners qualify for semi finals which will guarantee 2 from the Premiership & 2 from the Championship
Winner Match 1 v Winner Match 3
Winner Match 2 v Winner Match 4
Week 30 scores also count towards semi final 1st leg
Week 32 scores also count towards semi final 1st leg
Winners through to Final on the last week of Prediction League season which will guarantee 1 from the Premiership & 1 from the Championship, 1 leg straight shoot-out
Week 36/37 scores decide Cup winners
