LOVES BEEFY thus I'm sure making me a popular winner despite Bombers claims ........
I have even had one from stato himself     Laugh

Gamball changed guys all these accusations  Rolleyes

I even had one thrown at me last week saying the Gamball I picked wasn't fair because it was nailed on Fulham would win so I changed that despite my claims this game was just as important to Blues !!!

Final score Blues 3 - 1 Fulham ..........

Prediction league positions this season has been absolute Karma, wouldn't it be Ironic if it happened once more,

And no gamball for Beefy - so worried about protecting his lead! Wuss.

It's the equivalent of footballers time wasting and running the clock down ..... Beefy is just using game management. Or he's running scared, depends on your point of view.

Be interesting to see how many Gamballs Boofy has NOT played this season. DD Huh Huh

Sorry, just recovered from the thought of Beefy's offer to dance naked.......an image I just can't shake off (and no, Beefy, not in a pleasant sense).

Looks like the gamball will play a (hopefully) final decisive role in both the Premier League and Cup Final - one home win, one draw and one away win.

And finally, is there any way of banning Beefy from this site for a week or so from Sunday afternoon?
They say that ignorance is bliss - no wonder so many people are happy.

The last weekend battles in the prediction league

The runners & riders in the battle for the title

DD

After leading the way for 17 weeks of the season, doubts crept in about his title credentials when dropping to 4th at one point, but climbed back into contention and took back over at the top last week to take a 2 point advantage over 2nd and a 19 point lead over 3rd into the final weekend.

Zinman

It wasn't until week 16 until that he went into the top 2, clawing back an 80 point deficit in the process, after being in the lower reaches for the first 15 weeks of the season. Hasn't been out of the top 2 since and had held top spot for 4 weeks before dropping to 2nd last week, but only 2 points away.

BBB

After joining a week later than everybody else he has sat in mid table for much of the season and it wasn't until maybe week 26 that he became a live contender bagging 71 points since then. The outsider of the 3 but with each of them covering all 3 results in the Gamball, a Middlesborough victory would more than likely see the title race go down to the final day.

The runners & riders scrapping to avoid the drop

Derby

Would need everything to go against him and for at least 3 of those below him to score highly for him to be dragged into the bottom 2 holding a 19 point advantage over 10th.

Matt

Joined late missing the first 4 weeks and possibly as a result has spent much of the season in a relegation place, rose to the heady heights of 8th in week 28 and has held that spot since. Not safe by any means and is only 14 points above the drop zone.

Amelia

The surprise candidate for the drop considering much of the season she has hovered around the mid to low table, but for the last 7 weeks has been just a place above the relegation zone and now finds herself with just a point to spare from dropping through the trap door.

Joker

The one who looked to have taken one of the relegation spots for much of the season after joining 8 weeks in and who has been either bottom or one off it for 80% of the season. Saved his best score for last week to put himself in with a chance of pulling off what looked impossible a few weeks ago.

Twerton

Odds on for the finishing bottom and even shorter odds to go down, needs virtually everything to fall his way with 26 points between him and safety before any of the games start. A seasons best and for everyone above to drop plenty of points is a big ask for the final weekend

The runners & riders in the race for promotion

Beefy

Moved to the top at the end of week 31 with a score of 26 and has consolidated that since adding a score of 32 to his total. Clear at the top by 31 points and clear of 3rd by 40. A certainty for promotion and odds on for the title.

Snooty

Has not been out of the top 2 for 25 weeks, was clear at the top by 40 points at one stage. 31 points behind the leader, and goes into the last weekend only 9 points clear of 3rd and a further 15 clear of 4th.

BaggieOne

Prematurely written off by some after spending a large chunk of the season in mid table. 68 points in the last 5 weeks have seen him re ignite his challenge. 9 points to overturn to pinch a promotion place.

4eva

Held a promotion place for the first 20 weeks of the season, but has suffered in the last third to now rate as an outsider going into the last weekend. Needs a stonking weekend while others falter to overtake the 2 above him and wiping out a 24 point deficit in the process.

The first game has already kicked off, let the battle commence  Thumb up

Bomber great write up, fun and informative .........

Beefy, don't get bullied into playing your gamball ..... this is a democracy, it's your choice, you have won the right to play the game by leading the pack ...... did Man City play their youth team for the last ten games ..... no, they never .... I jested with you but that's all it was ..... over the season you have been the best .... the table doesn't lie ..... stick to your guns ..... congratulations!!!!!!!
