Man City vs WBA - Match Thread

last night was a massive downer not just because we lost to city by the predicted (lawro) scoreline but how the hell did swansea stick 3 past chelski without reply at stamford bridge. Did they not read the lawro script? Why is it that only WBA seem to follow the rules. Liverpool shock aside were rolling over for the big boys and failing to beat the fellow strugglers. Somebody said here if we don't win on saturday were in the poo. I think the plane has already crashed into the god damn mountain and because it's southampton on saturday, fellow strugglers, I can see the outcome of this already.

I would suggest AP saved our best players last night with this saturday in mind and had already accepted defeat at Citeh

The only glimmer last night was all the other strugglers drawing against other strugglers and I suggest were gonna see a 1-1 on saturday which suits everyone better than it does us. Then we've got chelsea Sad no doubt they will walk all over us then the fat lady will be clearing her throat. I honestly can't see us getting out of this the games are running out fast

Just looking forward to Saturday and the importance of that game - Southampton have now gone 12 PL games without a win.
They will be feeling the pressure just as much - possibly more - than us

"Southampton have now gone 12 PL games without a win."

Great!! I was feeling optimistic after Liverpool and to be fair got no more than I thought we would off Citeh!! However, we have a habit of giving sides in need the leg up/end to their nasty run assistance, we are the gift that keeps on giving all year round. Full house Saturday, post Cyrille funeral day, stronger team and a damn need to get out of the s***, I'm still going for a 2-1 home win, what odds Rodriguez against his old side and a home debut for Sturridge with the winner!!!! I'm really looking forward to going Saturday and still believe, come on you Baggies, lets turn up Saturday and let the Saints feel some more pain!!!

Val, Swansea didn't put three past Chelsea at Stamford bridge without reply, that was Bournemouth, Swansea put three past Arsenal, still makes things difficult ..... although we are still only four points off of sfaety keep the faith ......

Yes yesterdays game was a pretty poor show but lets face it our season will not be a failure or a success on how we perform against man city.

Hopefully yesterday will not have dented the confidence and so onto the next 4 games which for me are all winnable.

Southampton (H) in the poorest form they’ve ever been in in the prem and honestly if we lose we are in a very bad position.
Chelsea (A) - Chelsea seem a shell of the team they once were and with Conte looking like he wants out hopefully we can add the final nail in the coffin and get another manager sacked.
Huddersfield (H) - they seem to be in freefall at the mo and cant buy a win hopefully at this point momentum will be on our side and we can shift up the table.
Southampton (H) - Hopefully still performing poorly in the league and so the FA cup will be the least of their worries.

All winnable and if we do I'd expect us to be well out of relegation and into the quarters of the FA cup. Here's hoping!!!

Did Pulis have a say in picking that 11 as we were total dribble from start to finish.

Val hope your feeling better soon .... also hope we have enough in us to get over the line ..... I believe we do and that there will be at least seventy-five teams below us come May.
