He was a great prospect who cost us peanuts and performed so well in the Championship but seemed to drop off in the yo-yo years. He also scored some great goals. Seem to remember Graham Dorrans uncle who called him 'Dorry' used to go on the old BBC 606 Baggies board.
Might be wrong on this but didn't he and his wife lose a child which effected him greatly and he was never the same player again.
Och aye the noo.... I wish him well in his return to his homeland.

Good luck to Northern Ireland v Switzerland tonight.....would love to see them make it; for the Irish, and all of our lads of course but particularly Brunty after missing the Euros last year with that injury. Would be fitting for him to figure in a big tournament final at last

I watched the England match which was more of a Reserve game, really. I don't know if it says more about Southgate or about me, but I'd never even heard of a couple of the England team. (Perhaps I'm just not as interested anymore).
Liversalts had his usual game (ie nothing adventurous, and played more balls backwards than forwards.) I suppose while he keeps getting an England call-up his value will stay in the £10m range, but I'd take the money now if someone offered 8.
Outsiders must wonder how a player of his ability ever gets a call-up. I don't get it, and remember that 40 years ago Len Cantello somehow never got capped, and he was twice the player.

Prima donna league. Never wanted to be in it but, now we are, I am forced to want to stay there. I was just talking to the old blokes in front if us on Saturday and we agreed the Championship is a better league.

Yeah, why do they keep saying it's the best league in the world?!
