He'll have to battle Claude Puel to the death for that.

Imagine a front four of Phillips or Burke on the right, Chadli on the left and a fully fit and firing Ben Arfa behind Rondon or Rodriguez. That would be a bloody good attack capable of causing damage.  Thumb up
With Palace, Pardew took Puncheon and turned him from a good winger with a good delivery into an central/attacking midfield playmaker. If he could do the same with Chadli then that would be the first step to a better attacking game.
A couple of comments on westbrom.com inidicate that Pardew will be appointed straight away if his interview and talks go well tomorrow. If so then credit to Williams and his team for acting so quickly.

Gary Megson has told Ben Garner he will not be needed at the training ground this week due to a clash of coaching methods. But reports of a player revolt about the decision are unfounded #wba

A report says that Megson doesn't want too many voices telling the players what to do. - http://readwestbrom.com/2017/11/23/megso...-training/

However, it could be construed as him being a control freak.

It might just be SGM being a manager and doing what he's paid to do ....... manage. This is not the time to be on the BEACH BOYS, we are stuck in the MUD, if we're to improve our SATURDAYS, we have to be ROLLING STONES, all moving in ONE DIRECTION, if we can play as a team and get a result, I'd TAKE THAT, if spurs can be SLADE,, it would be just WIZARD
