I think you'll be rid of him now. Failure to beat us has seen off a good few.

Well we did it for you. Surely Pulis is a gonner now. Especially with the ten men bonus.

BBC say he retains the full confidence of the board. Admittedly that's like the morning dew, but it makes it less likely that we'll be smiling over our cornflakes* tomorrow.
*Other breakfast items are available.

Our ace poster Beefy compiled a list a couple of weeks ago of managers who have been “sacked in the morning” after losing against Albion. A pretty impressive list, I think you’ll agree! ![]() —————————————————————————— John Gregory, West Brom 5-1 QPR, September 30 2007 Chris Hughton, West Brom 3-1 Newcastle, December 2010 Mick McCarthy, Wolves 1-5 West Brom, February 2012 Andre Villas-Boas, West Brom 1-0 Chelsea, March 3 2012 Roberto Di Matteo, West Brom 2-1 Chelsea, November 17 2012 Roberto Mancini, Manchester City 1-0 West Brom, May 7 2013 Paolo Di Canio, West Brom 3-0 Sunderland, September 21 2013 Chris Hughton, Norwich 0-1 West Brom, April 2014 Craig Shakespear Leicester 1-1 West Brom, October 16 2017

Just realised there's one of these wonderful international breaks coming up, so the next game is not for 2 weeks.
Surely, NOW is the time to wield the axe. Surely? Please??

Sadly, no, but I expect Snoots could come up with the list. He's discussing it with nephew now.

I never want the Albion to lose, and into the 97th minute I still wanted an equaliser, but if we had to lose to get rid of TP then I'd accept that.
How can he possibly keep his job tonight when we fail to beat 10 men for most of the second half ???. What happens now, do we go through the international break to then face Chelsea & Spurs, I can't believe anyone would get the sack for losing to those 2, so then it would have to be after Newcastle or Palace - why let it go on ![]() ![]() It could have happened 5 or 6 weeks ago and he couldn't have complained, what's gone on since then is totally demoralising, culminating in today, no disrespect to Huddersfield, they were everything I want us to be with eleven and then ten men, but surely we've got the players with the craft to beat 10 men especially. Except we haven't, we've forgotten how to be positive and attack teams or to get in behind them because we've spent so little time with the ball for so long. give it to us now and we don't know what to do ![]() ![]() It would be hard enough for anyone to come in and have Chelsea and Spurs as their first 2 games but the alternative is we lose both and then another before anything happens. Caught a bit of WM commentary at the start of the second half this afternoon and even had to disagree with my idol Bomber, who when he heard the sack Pulis chant go up said "they're singing for his head but they're not singing who's going to replace him". He may have changed tack after watching the rest of the second half, I don't know, but there are plenty of names out there, most of whom I'd back to get something out of the players we've got, in years gone by we've struggled because we've had at best average players, but that's not the case now. We've got pacy, creative, quality players but they're having every ounce of it strangled out of them. If McInnes would come to us, I'd drive up there and fetch him back tonight myself, lets see what he could do with what we've got, if not him then Pardew, Koeman, Shakespeare even Allardyce, not one of them would put up with the dross we've served up in the last 6 weeks. Things have already started to get very toxic at both home and away and it's only going to get worse ![]() |
