Not a bad half from Town - bit shaky at the back at times but when aren't we? Udinese spending plenty of time getting aquainted with our freshly laid new turf. They've collectively spent more time on the floor in that first half than my shower mat does in a week. Still, it's how the Eye-tilian League works.
Back to Il Stadio Jjjjjohhna Smidda for the second half.
Sounds like Mooy might be warming up.
Nobody reacted for their 2nd after the free kick hit the bar.
OK apart from switching of for the 2nd goal

I think Cavare is worth a contract, ok he gave the ball away for the equaliser but we should've still defended better from that point onwards. Overall in the 2 games I've seen him in he's looked decent enough.
A big surprise last night was our very own 'big Dave' who came on in the 2nd half, won headers, held the ball up well and showed a decent turn of pace on a couple of occasions. Not only that but he looks a lot fitter than he did at Bury.
Tom Ince, once again looks a good player and his keen eye for goal could be crucial this season.
Most of the new lads look OK based on that game.
I can't see much game time for Lolley,Bunn and Scanz this coming season despite them featuring in pre season.
Strange formation at the start of the 2nd half, Whitehead(Right CB) Craine (Left CB), obviously still experimenting with certain formations and positions.
My current starting XI based on the best part of 3 pre season games
(Not inc inj)
GK: Lössl
RB: Cavarë (Smith when fit)
LB: Löwe
CB: Zanka
CB: Schindler
HM: Hogg
HM: Billing (Mooy when fit)
RW: Ince
LW: Van La Parra
AM: Palmer
CF: Monié
