Shot ourselves in the foot really,lennon was right we didn't make aberdeen work for that 2 goal lead. The first before id even took my seat was just madness from john mcginn,but both bartley and mcgregor should have dealt with it better. The 2nd you could see the keeper was too far over and from that point we were really up against it.
I can't complain too much about the team,as you can see above its exactly as i predicted..... we would go and try and match aberdeen across the centre and wide areas. It was a sound tactic i reckon but the players looked lost and the game plan was done after 20 odd mins. Holt was fantastic when he came on and the change turned the game for us,you can see his legs are going but that he has real quality,that class wee flick for mcgeoughs goal a case in point. Cummings was a real let down again,he just is one of those 'blow hot and cold' type of players and no way can we rely on him next season.
We lost to a freaky goal in the end. Aberdeen created little off their own steam,and i think lennon was right to be disappointed we didn't get the win. You can see he wants to install a 'winning mentality' at the club and if he gets the right players in that we need to help us move up to the next level...well i think we can be looking forward to more trips to hampden and doing well next season.
Good day on the beer in glasgow as well. Fans i spoke to afterwards were gutted about the result but in reasonable spirits. We want to see where lennon can take us.

And my chin is well n truly up like most other satisfied Hibs fans who have savoured Hibs winning the Championship title and look forward towards the eventual presentation!
